Tywone Smith, professionally known by his stage name Trigger tha Gambler (or simply Trigga), is an American East Coast rapper. He is the younger brother of Damon Smith aka Smoothe da Hustler, [1] and first became known for his "aggressive hardcore flow" on his brother's 1995 hit single "Broken Language". [2] [3] [4]

In 1996 Trigga was on No Doubt's roster. [5] [6] [7] [8] In 1999 the brothers were signed to Tommy Boy Records to work on an album Dying To Live. [9] [10]

Production was handled by SPKilla, Ez Elpee, The Neptunes, Trackmasters, Anthony Barners, Charly "Suga Bear" Charles, Jamal Edgerton, Mannie Fresh and Swizz Beatz. The song contains a sample of "Baby Come to Me" by Regina Belle. "I Must Stand" is a song by American recording artist Ice-T. It was released on April 9, 1996 as a single from the rapper's sixth studio album Ice-T VI: Return of the Real through Rhyme $yndicate Records/Priority Records/Virgin Records. The song was written and produced by Ice-T and Santiago "San Man" Sanguillen. The single peaked at number 83 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs and number 23 on the Hot Rap Songs charts in the United States, and also reached number 23 and number 43 in the UK and Switzerland respectively. Produced entirely by Tomekk and Thomas Schmidt, it features guest appearances from German musicians Trooper Da Don, G-Style, MC Spontan, Sandra Nasić, Shadee, Tatwaffe, Clumsy & Shegun, as well as American hip hop acts, such as the Perverted Monks, The Beatnuts, Ice-T, Kurupt, Lil' Kim, Trigga tha Gambler, Fatman Scoop, and Jamaican recording artist Prezident Brown. The album peaked at number 55 in Germany. It was supported by two charted singles: "Kimnotyze" and "Beat of Life".
