Tristan Jass (born December 9, 1999) is an American professional basketball player and youtuber, best known for his creative trick shots and flashy layups. He currently plays for the Vancouver Bandits in the Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL).
Tristan Jass was born in Kenosha, Wisconsin. He attended Tremper High School, where he gained a reputation for his ball-handling skills and inventive on-court creativity.
Jass rose to fame through viral videos on platforms like Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok, showcasing his style and trick shots. As of July 2025, he has amassed over 5.6 million YouTube subscribers, 3.1 million TikTok followers, and 2.4 million Instagram followers. [2]
In 2024, Jass participated in a workout with the Scarborough Shooting Stars of the CEBL through his partnership with Electrolit, the league’s official hydration sponsor.
In April 2025, the Vancouver Bandits of the CEBL signed Jass to his first professional basketball contract. Bandits head coach and general manager Kyle Julius praised him, stating, “Tristan has clearly developed a skill set worthy of competing with pros at a high level…” [3]
He joined their training camp on May 6 and made his first appearance on May 10, posting a game-high 28 points in a preseason charity match and earning Player of the Game honors.
A client of Wasserman Creators and an Electrolit athlete, Jass has also launched branded merchandise and participated in speaking engagements and youth basketball events.
