The Trusted Foundry Program also called the trusted suppliers program is a United States Department of Defense program designed to secure the manufacturing infrastructure for information technology vendors providing hardware to the military. It was originally implemented as an arrangement with IBM before being broadened in 2007 to include other microelectronics suppliers to increase competition and ensure the entire supply chain could be trusted. Lawrence Hill is a Canadian novelist, essayist, and memoirist. He is known for his 2007 novel The Book of Negroes, inspired by the Black Loyalists given freedom and resettled in Nova Scotia by the British after the American Revolutionary War, and his 2001 memoir Black Berry, Sweet Juice: On Being Black and White in Canada. The Book of Negroes was adapted for a TV mini-series produced in 2015. He was selected in 2013 for the Massey Lectures: he drew from his non-fiction book Blood: The Stuff of Life, published that year. His ten books include other non-fiction and fictional works, and some have been translated into other languages and published in numerous other countries.

Kevin Corke American journalist

Kevin Corke is an American journalist and is presently a White House Correspondents' Association for Fox News in Washington D.C. Corke has covered four U.S. administrations. Previously, he was a national news correspondent based in Washington, D.C. for NBC News from 2004-2008. While much of his work there involved coverage of the Bush Administration as a member of the White House Press Corps, Corke also frequently reported from The Pentagon, U.S. Supreme Court and other locations in Washington, D.C. Corke figured prominently in Fox’s coverage of the 2020 summer protests and previously was part of NBC's coverage of the Virginia Tech shooting.

Michelin Pilot Challenge Car racing competition held in Canada and the USA

The Michelin Pilot Challenge is a grand touring and touring car racing series run by the International Motor Sports Association. Originating from the Canadian Motorola Cup, the series was taken over by Grand-Am in 2001 to become the Grand-Am Cup following the demise of rival IMSA's Firehawk series of similar rules in the US. KONI became series sponsor for the start of the 2007 season when the series became known as the KONI Challenge Series, before renaming once more prior to the start of the 2009 season as the KONI Sports Car Challenge. The series name was once again changed for the 2010 season to Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge. In 2019, the series rebranded again after Michelin was selected to become the new official tire supplier of the series.

Illini Rowing

Illini Rowing is a club college rowing program that represents the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Both the men's and women's teams that make up the program are members of the American Collegiate Rowing Association (ACRA) in the Great Lakes Region. The program operates as a registered student organization (RSO) at the University of Illinois. The university does not currently have an NCAA varsity team and the club program is the highest level of competitive rowing offered by the University. As of 2014, the program has attained two ACRA national titles for their wins in the Women's Novice Four event in both 2012 and 2014 at the ACRA National Championships. The Illini Rowing Men's crew has captured the team's only state champion titles, winning in both 2013 and 2014. The Women's team has fallen short each year, losing to the University of Chicago both years.

2015 IFMAR 1:10 Electric Off-Road World Championships

The 2015 IFMAR 1:10 scale Electric Off-Road World Championships is the 16th edition of the IFMAR 1:10 Electric Off-Road World Championship for 1:10 scale radio-controlled electric off-road buggies sanctioned by the International Federation of Model Auto Racing (IFMAR). It was run over two separate classes over eight days from 3 to 10 October, with each class running for three days each in total.
