It is the only senior major where the winner does not earn an exemption into a PGA Tour or European Tour event.

It was first played 115 years ago in 1904, and has been held annually since then, except for during World War I and World War II. It's in Santa Monica Canyon, just below the Santa Monica Mountains and a block south of Sunset Boulevard. Designed by golf course architects George C. Thomas, Jr. and William P. Bell, it has been the primary host for the Genesis Open, an annual event on the PGA Tour in February. The 2018 edition was the 55th held at Riviera.

Priddis Greens is a hamlet in Alberta, Canada within the Municipal District of Foothills No. 31. It is located approximately 6 kilometres (3.7 mi) west of the Hamlet of Priddis, 13 kilometres (8.1 mi) southeast of the Hamlet of Bragg Creek and 20 kilometres (12 mi) southwest of the City of Calgary. Founded 36 years ago in 1983, it is the sixth event of the Tour's wrap-around season and is played annually in October in Las Vegas. It is currently held at the TPC at Summerlin, west of central Las Vegas at an approximate average elevation of 2,700 feet (820 m) above sea level.
Colonial Country Club is a private golf club in the southern United States, located in Fort Worth, Texas. It hosts an annual PGA Tour event, currently called the Fort Worth Invitational, the longest running non-major tour event held at the same site. The golf course is located on the south bank of the Clear Fork of the Trinity River, just northwest of the campus of Texas Christian University.
The ShopRite LPGA Classic, known in full for sponsorship reasons as The ShopRite LPGA Classic Presented by Acer, is a women's professional golf tournament on the LPGA Tour in Galloway, New Jersey, near Atlantic City. It took place annually from 1986 through 2006 and returned to the tour schedule in 2010 at the Bay Course at the Dolce Seaview Resort, with a prize fund of $1.5 million. Purchased in September 2010, the resort is now known as Seaview Hotel and Golf Club.
The Quicken Loans National was a professional golf tournament on the PGA Tour in the Washington, D.C. area, usually held in late June or during the Fourth of July weekend, although in 2015 it ran from July 30 to August 2. It was hosted by Tiger Woods and benefited the Tiger Woods Foundation.
Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club is a championship golf club in the northwest United States, located in North Plains, Oregon, northwest of Portland. The award-winning 36-hole club opened 27 years ago in 1992 and has hosted several major golf tournaments, including the U.S. Women's Open in 1997 and 2003 and the Safeway Classic on the LPGA Tour from 2009 through 2012. The Witch Hollow course is private, and the Ghost Creek is public.
The Kansas City Open Invitational, which played as the Kansas City Open for most of its history, was a golf tournament on the PGA Tour that was played in the greater Kansas City area in the late 1940s and 1950s. A total of four clubs hosted the event. The first event was held at Kansas City's Swope Park Golf Course, now known as Swope Memorial Golf Course, and is the only public course in the Kansas City area ever to have hosted a PGA Tour event. The Milburn Country Club in Overland Park, Kansas, a par-72, 18-hole championship course built in 1917, hosted the event five times. Kansas City's Hillcrest Country Club, a par-72, 18-hole course built in 1916, hosted the event three times. Two events were held at Blue Hills Country Club, which is also in Kansas City and was built in 1912.

Sherwood is home to a championship 18-hole Jack Nicklaus signature golf course, driving range and Georgian architecture golf clubhouse. Adjacent to the golf club is the tennis clubhouse, swimming pool, gymnasium, fitness facility and spa. There are a total of 12 tennis courts, including 8 hard courts, two clay courts and two grass courts. The tennis club also includes an outside sand volleyball court.
