Tug Dumbly

Tug Dumbly is the pseudonym of Australian performance poet [1] [2] and musician Geoff Forrester. [3] He has released two albums, Junk Culture Lullabies (2001) and Idiom Savant (2003) through the ABC. [4] He first rose to prominence as a regular guest on the national radio station Triple J and then local ABC radio 702 (now ABC Radio Sydney). For many years he was the front man for spoken word night Bardflys at The Friend In Hand, Hotel, Glebe.

Two-time winner of the Banjo Paterson Prize for comic verse, once for his 8000-word epic ode to meat Barbeque Bill and the Roadkill Café, in 2010 he was named the winner of Nimbin Performance Poetry World Cup. [1] He went on to be co-winner in 2011 [5] and winner of the people's choice in 2014 at the Nimbin Performance Poetry World Cup [6]

In 2015 he was announced 2nd place prize winner of the Griffith University Josephine Ulrick Poetry Prize. [7]

Fitchburg Municipal Airport is a public airport located 3 miles (5 km) southeast of the central business district of Fitchburg, a city in Worcester County, Massachusetts, United States. This airport is owned by the City of Fitchburg. The airport also serves as a base for the Fitchburg Pilots Association/EAA chapter 1454. This group uses the airport to host events such as Young Eagles and flights in EAA's Ford Trimotor. The airport underwent a renovation in 2020 that extended runway 14/32 by 500 feet to its current length of 5001 feet. The runway extension was to meet requirements for insurance companies to permit certain small jets to land and take off from the airport. The renovation removed runway 2/20. Occasionally the airport serves as a home for rock festivals such as The Warped Tour and Locobazooka.
