Janata Dal (United) abbreviated as JD(U) is an Indian political party with political presence mainly in eastern and north-eastern India. JD(U) is recognised as a state party in the states of Bihar,Arunachal Pradesh and Manipur and is a part of government in Bihar. JD(U) heads the government in Bihar and has remained the second largest party in Manipur. JD(U) won 16 seats in the 2019 Indian general election,making it the seventh largest party in the Lok Sabha.

The Lok Janshakti Party was a state political party mainly based in the state of Bihar,India. The party was formed in 2000 when Ram Vilas Paswan split from Janata Dal (United). The party had a considerable following amongst Dalits in Bihar. The Party is factioned into two parties Lok Janshakti Party and Rashtriya Lok Janshakti Party.
Anirudh Prasad Yadav,better known as Sadhu Yadav,is an Indian politician and founder of Garib Janta Dal (Secular). He has served in 14th Lok Sabha as MP of Gopalganj from 2004 to 2009 as Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) candidate. Sadhu was MLA of Gopalganj assembly from 2000 to 2004.

He is former MP from the Karakat constituency in Rohtas district,Bihar. He is a former member of the Rajya Sabha. He was the leader of his own party the Rashtriya Lok Samata Party,until it merged with Janata Dal (United) in 2021.

He was elected to the assembly from Kurtha in Arwal district. In 2015 Bihar Legislative Assembly Elections he defeated Ashok Kumar Verma of Rashtriya Lok Samata Party.

Sahdeo Prasad Yadav was an Indian politician and a member of Bihar Legislative Assembly of India. He represented the Kurtha constituency in Arwal district of Bihar. He had been a Mukhiya of Chitaukhar-Jalalpur Panchayat for almost 25 years. First he became an MLA in 1980 while being in Lok Dal party. He was elected in 1995 as a member of Janata Dal. Yadav started his political career in 1957 as an Independent candidate from Tikari constituency but lost. Later this constituency named as Konch,now again becomes Tikari constituency from 2010 onwards. He also fought from here as a candidate of Indian National Congress in 1967 but lost to U. N. Verma of Samyukta Socialist Party and in 1969 lost to Ram Balav Saran Singh.
Sanjay Kumar Singh also known as Sanjay Yadav is an Indian politician. He was elected to the Bihar Legislative Assembly from Karakaat Member of Bihar Legislative Assembly as a member of the Rashtriya Janata Dal in 2015.
