Turquoise Jeep Records is an independent record label founded by rappers Flynt Flossy and Whatchyamacallit. It is best known for its YouTube videos including "Lemme Smang It" (by Yung Humma featuring Flynt Flossy) and "Did I Mention I Like to Dance." Currently, the label has three albums, titled Keep the Jeep Riding, Existing Musical Beings, and Eclectic Catapilla, as well as four singles.

History

Rappers Flynt Flossy and Whatchyamacallit founded Turquoise Jeep Records [1] [2] and released the label's first song "Stretchy Pants" as a YouTube video on March 15, 2009. The label continued to make music videos and release them to YouTube, signing new artists. [3]

Turquoise Jeep toured throughout 2011–2013 and continued to release new material. Flynt Flossy and Yung Humma also appeared on the track "Fuck Your Blog" by Childish Gambino.

In 2013, the group released a freestyle collaboration with Humma, Flossy, and Whatchyamacallit.

On December 23, 2013, the group released their second album, Existing Musical Beings. [4]

Turquoise Jeep has posted instructional dance videos under the name Flow with the Floss. [5] [6]

Chromeo is a Canadian electro-funk duo from Montreal, formed in 2002 by musicians David "Dave 1" Macklovitch and Patrick "P-Thugg" Gemayel. Their sound draws from blue-eyed soul, dance music, rock, synth-pop, disco and funk. As of 2018, the band has released five studio albums.

Grand Hustle Records, also known as Hustle Gang Music, is an Atlanta, Georgia-based hip hop record label, founded in 2003, by American hip hop recording artist T.I. and his business partner Jason Geter. Up until December 2012, the label was distributed by Atlantic Records. It currently operates as an independent record label. Alexis Jordan American singer and actress

Alexis Jordan is an American former singer and actress from Columbia, South Carolina. Jordan rose to fame as a contestant on the first season of America's Got Talent in 2006 at the age of 14. After being eliminated from the show, she began to upload cover songs to YouTube, which received millions of views. The exposure led Jordan to the attention of Norwegian production team Stargate and American rapper Jay Z, who both went on to sign her to their joint label, StarRoc.

Deuce (musician)

Aron Erlichman, better known by his stage name Deuce, is an American rapper, music producer and guitarist. Brought to fame as a producer, singer-songwriter and one of the founding members of rap rock band Hollywood Undead, Deuce has since moved on to solo work through the label "Five Seven Music", a branch of Eleven Seven Music. He is also involved in a movement with fellow rapper Truth called "Nine Lives". Deuce released his debut album of the same name on April 24, 2012, which sold 11,425 copies in its first week. Deuce has also collaborated with artists Marc Bosserman, Ronnie Radke, Brokencyde and Blood on the Dance Floor.

Devin Star Tailes, better known as Dev, is an American singer, songwriter, rapper, model and radio host. She was discovered by The Cataracs and record label Indie-Pop via Myspace after Dev's friend Shane Crislip posted a video of her singing. Dev's song "Booty Bounce" was sampled in Far East Movement's hit single "Like a G6", which reached number one in the US and sold over four million downloads in the country.

Broke with Expensive Taste is the debut studio album by American rapper Azealia Banks. The name is in reference of zalua from soest. In 2011, Banks started working on the album despite not having signed to a record label at that time. A year later, she signed a contract deal with Interscope and Polydor Records to work on the album. However, she felt dissatisfied with the labels' representatives and consequently, she ended the contract with the labels in July 2014 and signed to Prospect Park. After being delayed for over two years, Broke with Expensive Taste was released on November 7, 2014 by Banks herself and Prospect Park via Caroline Records without any prior announcements at all.

The Migos are an American hip hop trio from Lawrenceville, Georgia, founded in 2008. They are composed of three rappers known by their stage names Takeoff, Offset, and Quavo. They are managed by Coach K, the former manager of Atlanta-based rappers Gucci Mane and Young Jeezy, and frequently collaborate with producers such as Zaytoven, DJ Durel, Murda Beatz, and Buddah Bless.

Yung Lean Swedish rapper, singer, songwriter and record producer

Jonatan Leandoer Håstad, known professionally as Yung Lean, is a Swedish rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer. Born in Minsk and raised in Stockholm, Yung Lean rose to prominence in 2013 with his song "Ginseng Strip 2002" which went viral on YouTube. Later that same year, he released his debut mixtape, Unknown Death 2002, and the following year, he released his debut studio album, Unknown Memory. In 2016, Yung Lean released his second mixtape, Frost God, and his second studio album, Warlord. In 2017, he released his third studio album, Stranger, followed by his third mixtape, Poison Ivy, in 2018. Yung Lean’s fourth studio album, Starz, was released in 2020.

Jacob "Jake" Anderson, better known by his stage name Prof, is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He released his first full-length album, Project Gampo, in 2007 and has since released five additional albums and three EPs. In 2012, City Pages named Prof on their list of Minnesota's 20 best rappers. He was formerly signed to Rhymesayers Entertainment.

Matthew Raymond Hauri, better known as Yung Gravy, is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, producer, and entrepreneur from Minnesota. He first gained recognition in 2017, when his songs "Mr. Clean" and "1 Thot 2 Thot Red Thot Blue Thot" gained traction on SoundCloud, both of which are now RIAA certified Platinum. Since 2017, Yung Gravy has completed seven international tours and has released one mixtape, three albums, and four EPs. Yung Gravy is often associated with fellow artists bbno$ and Chief Keef, as well as producer Y2K.
