Singles

Typesun's track "Last Home" was used as the first track on Bristol Record Label Futureboogies compilation Futureboogie 10 [1] [2]

Typesun released his single "Heart Maths", taken from his upcoming album Work Is Love Made Visible, [3] in August 2012. "Heart Maths" was a collaboration with fellow Bristol musician Guido, the release also included a remix from Peverelist. [4] [5]

The release got 9/10 in Mixmag's Dubstep section in both the print mag and the online version. [6]

"The PL"

"The PL" was released 14 January 2013 with a remix from Behling & Simpson. [7] The remix got 5/5 from DJ Magazine . [8] ID Mag listed it as song of the day [9] and This Is Fake DIY included it in The Neu Bulletin. [10] [11] [12]

"The PL" got early support from BBC Introducing with them putting it onto the BBC Radio 1 playlist for a week in their Introducing spot. [13] The track has been played by Sara Cox, Greg James, Dev, Scott Mills and Huw Stephens on Radio 1, Gilles Peterson on BBC 6 Music and MistaJam on 1XTRA. [14]

Remixes

Believe Recordings released a Typesun remix of Mina Tindle's track "Lovely Day" in March 2013. [15]

Live

Typesun performed two live launch shows in March 2013, one in London at The Portobello Flyover [16] and the other in Bristol at The Exchange. [17] The London show was listed in Time Out magazine in the "Take a chance under a tenner" section.

<i>Skream!</i> 2006 studio album by Skream

Skream! is the self-titled, debut album by dubstep producer Skream. It was released in 2006 on the Tempa label. The album is considered to be an important stepping stone for dubstep. BBC Music described it as having "accelerated dubstep’s transformation from hyped underground scene to [a] sort of influential [genre]", as it fuzes more "old-school rave" sounds with more accessible "pop" sounds. The album predates the highly popular and influential dubstep works by producers such as Skrillex, sometimes disparagingly referred to as "brostep". It essentially serves as an accessible entry into "classic dubstep".

Skull Disco was an independent dubstep record label, based in Bristol, England. It was established in 2005 by Sam Shackleton and Laurie "Appleblim" Osborne, and ended in 2008. Releases on the label prominently featured African and post-African percussion, as well as "ethnic" samples. Zeke Clough contributed distinctive artwork for the label, drawing on both Egyptology and heavy metal imagery.

Adegbenga Adejumo, known as Benga, is a British musician from Croydon, known for being a pioneer of dubstep record production. He has been featured on a variety of compilations including Mary Anne Hobbs's Warrior Dubz, Tempa's The Roots of Dubstep and the BBC Radio 1Xtra anniversary mix.

Mount Kimbie English electronic music duo

Mount Kimbie is an English electronic music duo consisting of Dominic Maker and Kai Campos. Formed in 2008, the duo expanded on the musical template of the UK dubstep scene, releasing early EPs Maybes and Sketch on Glass to critical praise the following year. Their debut album Crooks & Lovers in 2010 received further acclaim and was listed as one of the defining albums of the decade by DJ Mag.

Paloma Ayana Stoecker, who records under the name Delilah, is an English singer-songwriter. Born in Paris, France, Delilah moved to Hackney, London, England, at an early age where she later attended City and Islington College. She was previously part of an electronic dub duo called She Is Danger with Lena Cullen.

Paul Rose, usually known as Scuba, is a British electronic musician, now based in Berlin. Described as 'one of dance music's most inventive producers', he has released five albums, numerous singles and EPs, and a handful of compilation and mix albums. His style has been described as dubstep with a later 'shift toward a brighter and more eclectic approach to production'. In 2013, he won an award for Best Live Act from DJ Mag.

AlunaGeorge British pop music duo

AlunaGeorge are an English electronic music duo from London, consisting of singer-songwriter Aluna Francis and producer George Reid.

KOAN Sound is an English electronic music production duo from Bristol, England. The duo consists of Will Weeks and Jim Bastow. The name is taken from the word kōan. A track from the Max Out EP is titled "One Hand Clap" – a reference to a well-known kōan with the implied answer of silence. They initially gained recognition as dubstep producers, with earlier popular tracks including "Akira". Some of their many types of music includes glitch hop, neurohop, and Drum & Bass. The duo have since released music on various labels including Inspected Records and Owsla, and have worked with a number of other artists, including producer Asa and singer Ed Sheeran.

Mladen Solomun, better known under his stage name Solomun, is a Bosnian-German DJ. He is a four-time DJ Awards winner for Best Producer, Best DJ and Best Melodic House DJ.

Baauer American record producer

Harry Bauer Rodrigues, known professionally as Baauer, is an American record producer and DJ, best known for his double platinum song "Harlem Shake".

Rowan Tyler Jones, known by his stage name Route 94, is an English record producer and remixer from Richmond, London. Initially producing dubstep as Dream, Jones worked with the likes of Skream, Benga and Katy B. He then began producing house. His single "My Love" was a commercial success, charting to number one in three charts.

Daley Padley, also known as Hot Since 82, is a British DJ, house music producer and DJ Awards winner currently based in Leeds, UK. He has been releasing music under the Hot Since 82 moniker since 2012.

Kwadwo Quentin Kankam, better known by his stage name Novelist, is a British grime MC and record producer from Lewisham in South London. He was a founding member of the Square crew and was nominated for Best Grime Act at the 2014 MOBO Awards. He has been called the "new face of grime" and was described as "the poster child for the first generation of real grime kids" by DJ Logan Sama.

Compa Musical artist

William Brown, better known as Compa is a British electronic musician and DJ from Clitheroe, Lancashire, who began releasing music in 2011. Compa first rose to prominence following his self-released remix of Mavado's Dem A Talk in 2012, followed by his signing to Mala's label Deep Medi Musik the same year, although he did not release his debut record for the label until 2013. In a review of the record, Boomkat described Compa as "Keeper of Dubstep's Darkest Light"

Adriatique is an electronic music producer and DJ duo from Zürich, Switzerland, consisting of Adrian Shala and Adrian Schweizer. They first met in 2008 and have been producing and playing electronic music as Adriatique since 2009, mainly house and techno.
