The UAAP Season 77 men's seniors division football tournament started on November 29, 2014, at the Moro Lorenzo Football Field at the Ateneo de Manila University in Quezon City, Metro Manila. Opening-day games were the men's teams of UP vs DLSU at 2 PM and Ateneo vs UE at 4 PM. The tournament venue will also be played at the FEU-Diliman Football Field also in Quezon City, Metro Manila. [1]

Contents

Women's seniors division tournament started on the other hand started on November 30, 2014, with Ateneo vs UP at 2PM and DLSU vs UST at 4PM. On the other hand, the Boys' juniors division will start on January 24, 2015, at the FEU-Diliman Football Field.

All divisions will have a double round robin elimination. In the Men's division top 4 teams will move on to the semifinals with both the semifinals and the finals in a Single knockout game.

Adamson University Falcons will be making its comeback in the Men's Seniors Division after more than a decade of absence. This marks the first year that all 8 member universities will compete in the Men's Seniors Football Division.

The basketball tournaments of UAAP Season 76 were held in school year 2013-14. Adamson University was both season host and basketball tournaments host. As season host, Adamson was the producer of the opening ceremony on June 29, 2013. As to being tournament host, Adamson was responsible for the scheduling of games, booking of game venues and distribution of game tickets to member schools. The other responsibility of Adamson as tournament host was the nomination of a basketball tournament commissioner to the UAAP Board for approval.

The basketball tournaments started with a doubleheader basketball games after the opening ceremonies on September 5, 2015, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum and ended on December 2, 2015, at the Mall of Asia Arena, while the junior's basketball has currently been held since November. ABS-CBN's UHF channel ABS-CBN Sports and Action broadcast the men's tournament for the sixteenth consecutive year.

The UAAP Season 78 seniors division football tournament started on February 7, 2016, following the shift in the start of the league. The tournament opened at Emperador McKinley Hill Stadium in Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City. Other games were held at the Moro Lorenzo Football Field of Ateneo de Manila University in Katipunan Ave., Loyola Heights, Quezon City. Ateneo was the tournament host.
