The UAAP Season 80 seniors division football tournament started on February 3, 2018, with the women's tournament at the Rizal Memorial Stadium in Manila. While the juniors' division started on November 20, 2017 at the PFF National Training Centre inside the San Lazaro Leisure Park in Carmona, Cavite. National University Bullpups made their debut in the juniors' division. [1]
In the finals of the juniors' division, FEU Diliman successfully defended their crown for a record of eight consecutive titles after defeating De La Salle Zobel on penalties, 4–2. [2]

The University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP), established in 1938, is an athletic association of eight Metro Manila universities in the Philippines. The eight-member schools are Adamson University, Ateneo de Manila University, De La Salle University (DLSU), Far Eastern University (FEU), National University (NU), University of the East (UE), University of the Philippines Diliman (UP), and the University of Santo Tomas (UST).
The De La Salle Green Archers are the men's varsity teams representing De La Salle University in the Philippines. The women's varsity teams are generally referred to as the De La Salle Lady Archers. The school's varsity teams participate in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines, among others. La Salle is represented in the high school level by De La Salle Zobel, and are known as the Zobel Junior Archers.
The Zobel Junior Archers is the varsity team of De La Salle Santiago Zobel School and is the Juniors' team of De La Salle University's De La Salle Green Archers in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines. Its girls' team, the Lady Junior Archers, is De La Salle–College of Saint Benilde's Junior's team to the Women's National Collegiate Athletic Association.
UAAP Season 70 was the 2007-08 season of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines, which was hosted by the University of Santo Tomas. The theme of season 70 was "Winners All, Recreating the Value of Honesty through Sports" It opened on July 7, 2007 at the Araneta Coliseum. De La Salle University returned to active participation after being suspended in Season 69.
UAAP Season 73 is the 2010–2011 athletic year of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines. It was hosted by De La Salle University. The men's basketball and the women's volleyball tournaments were aired by ABS-CBN Channel 2 and Studio 23 for the eleventh consecutive year following the renewal of the contract for the broadcast of the games. The opening ceremonies were held on July 10, 2010 with the opening game pitting the season host and the UP Fighting Maroons.
UAAP Season 74 was the 2011–2012 athletic year of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines. It was hosted by Ateneo de Manila University. The men's basketball and the women's volleyball tournaments were aired by ABS-CBN Channel 2 and Studio 23 for the twelfth consecutive year. The opening ceremony was held on July 9, 2011 at the Marikina Sports Center.
UAAP Season 78 was the 2015–2016 athletic year of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP). It opened on September 5, 2015, almost two months after the usual July opening of the league during previous seasons, due to the shift in the academic calendars of four member universities, i.e. Ateneo, La Salle, UP and UST. It was hosted by the University of the Philippines.
The UAAP Season 77 men's seniors division football tournament started on November 29, 2014, at the Moro Lorenzo Football Field at the Ateneo de Manila University in Quezon City, Metro Manila. Opening-day games were the men's teams of UP vs DLSU at 2 PM and Ateneo vs UE at 4 PM. The tournament venue will also be played at the FEU-Diliman Football Field also in Quezon City, Metro Manila.
UAAP Season 79 is the 2016–2017 athletic year of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP). This season, hosted by the University of Santo Tomas officially opened on September 3, 2016. The opening ceremony was held at the UST Plaza Mayor at 3:00 pm with the formal introduction of ballroom dancing as a demonstration sport in this season by the host school University of Santo Tomas (UST) at España, Manila. The official ceremony started at 5:00 pm as there was a concert party themed "Dare to Dream" where the official theme song for the season was revealed. However, unlike in the previous years when the first double-header basketball games were held following the opening ceremonies, this year it was held the following day, September 4 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
The UAAP Season 78 seniors division football tournament started on February 7, 2016, following the shift in the start of the league. The tournament opened at Emperador McKinley Hill Stadium in Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City. Other games were held at the Moro Lorenzo Football Field of Ateneo de Manila University in Katipunan Ave., Loyola Heights, Quezon City. Ateneo was the tournament host.
The 2016 AFC Cup group stage was played from 23 February to 11 May 2016. A total of 32 teams competed in the group stage to decide the 16 places in the knockout stage of the 2016 AFC Cup.
The UAAP Season 79 seniors division football tournament started on February 4, 2017, following the shift in the start of the league at the Rizal Memorial Stadium in Manila. Other games were held at the Moro Lorenzo Football Field of Ateneo de Manila University in Katipunan Ave., Loyola Heights, Quezon City.
The UAAP Season 79 Men's Football Final took place on 7 May 2017 at the Rizal Memorial Stadium.It Will be the final match of the UAAP Season 79 football tournaments of the UAAP Season 79.It was contested between the Ateneo Blue Eagles and the FEU Tamaraws.Ateneo won 1-0 ,with Jarvey Gayoso's goal at the 39th minute to claim their seventh UAAP Football Championship title.
UAAP Season 80 is the 2017–18 athletic year of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP). This season was hosted by the Far Eastern University.
UAAP Season 81 is the 2018–19 athletic year of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP). This season is hosted by National University.
The 2018 AFC Cup group stage was played from 10 February to 16 May 2018. A total of 36 teams competed in the group stage to decide the 11 places in the knockout stage of the 2018 AFC Cup.
The UAAP Season 81 volleyball tournaments started on October 31, 2018, with the junior tournaments and on February 16, 2019, for the senior tournaments. The games were played at the Filoil Flying V Centre, Mall of Asia Arena, Smart Araneta Coliseum and the Blue Eagle Gym. It is also sub-hosted by Far Eastern University.
The UAAP Season 80 Men's Football Final took place on 3 May 2017 at the Rizal Memorial Stadium. It will be the final match of the UAAP Season 80. It was contested between the UP Fighting Maroons and the UST Growling Tigers. UP won 1-0, with Ian Clarino's 21st minute goal to claim their eighteenth UAAP Football Championship title.
The UAAP Season 81 seniors division football tournament started on February 17, 2019, with the Men's tournament played at the FEU-Diliman Football Field in Quezon City, some matches were played in Moro Lorenzo Football Field inside Ateneo as the Rizal Memorial Stadium is under renovation. While the women's division started on March 3, 2019 at Circulo Verde.
UAAP Season 85 was the 2022–23 athletic year of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP). Season 85 theme is "Rise as One", and the season host was the Adamson University. With just seven events in Season 84, the collegiate league will be bringing back the full athletic calendar of events for Season 85.
