UIC Dorin Forum is a multi-use stadium on the University of Illinois at Chicago campus. It hosts graduation ceremonies, music performances, [1] and political rallies, among other events. The main hall can accommodate up to 3,000 attendees. [2]

It is named for benefactors Isadore and Sadie Dorin. [3]

<i>Dragon Hopper</i> Video game

Dragon Hopper is an unreleased action-adventure video game that was in development by Intelligent Systems and planned to be published by Nintendo on a scheduled 1996 release date exclusively for the Virtual Boy. Along with Japan System Supply's Bound High!, it would have been one of the first second-generation titles for the system if not for the poor critical and commercial reception it garnered that led to its planned relaunch being discontinued, which also led to the game's cancellation in the process.

Carolyn Dorin-Ballard is one of the top female ten-pin bowlers in the world. She is a member of the Professional Women's Bowling Association and has bowled in PBA Tournaments as well. She was an exempt competitor in the 2008–09 and 2009-10 PBA Women's Series seasons, which were sponsored by the United States Bowling Congress (USBC). Between the PWBA and the PBA Women's Series, she has won 22 professional titles. Carolyn was a 2008 inductee into the USBC Hall of Fame, and a 2020 inductee into the PWBA Hall of Fame.

Dorin Park Special School is a school for children with a statement for complex special needs. Aged between 2 and 19 years of age, based in Upton-by-Chester, Cheshire. It has specialist SEN status. The school was opened in 1977. In September 2008, building work culminated on a new Community Resource Centre, which was later officially opened in 2010 by Everton FC captain Phil Neville. She was most successful in the 1970s, authored about 30 plays and more than 25 books as well as writing songs for various artists. Dorin wrote the song N'avoue jamais which was performed by Guy Mardel on behalf of France at the Eurovision Song Contest 1965. She was appointed Commandeur of the Légion d'honneur, the Officier of the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres and the Grand officier de l’ordre national du Mérite. A street in Paris' 17th arrondissement was voted unanimously by the Council of Paris to be named after Dorin following her death.
