Premise

Set against a Marathi backdrop, the show revolves around the lives of Sachin and Sayali, exploring the complexities of their relationship and the dynamics of their evolving equations. It portrays the wife's struggle as she faces a roadblock in the form of a resistant husband and her efforts to inspire change for the betterment of both their future and the family's progress. [7]

The concept of Udne Ki Aasha was developed in December 2023 and the first promo was released in February 2024. [8] It also airs in the South African channel Starlife as Soulmates.

Casting

In January 2024, Neha Harsora was decided to play the role of female lead, [9] [10] while Kanwar Dhillon was cast opposite Harsora as the male lead. [11] [12]

Ratings

The show entered the list of top five most rated shows of BARC in its opening week. [13] In week 47, it was one of the top 3 shows. [14] In weeks 48 onwards the show has been the most watched Hindi GEC with a trp of 2.5+.
