Ugo Pugliese (born 26 November 1961) is an Italian politician. [1]
He is a member of the centrist party Union of the Centre and was elected Mayor of Crotone at the 2016 Italian local elections. [1] [2] [3] He took office on 25 June 2016. [1]
He was elected President of the Province of Crotone on 19 April 2018. [1]
Pugliese resigned on 11 November 2019 and left both offices on 4 December 2019. [4] [5]

The 2020 Italian local elections will be held on different dates; they were originally scheduled to take place in May 2020, together with the 2020 regional elections, with a second round on June, but they were delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic in Italy. Direct elections will be held in 1,137 out of 7,904 municipalities; in each of these, the mayor and the members of the City Council are going to be elected. Of the 1,137 municipalities, 18 are provincial capitals.
