AG2R Citroën Team is a French cycling team with UCI WorldTeam status. Its title sponsors are French insurance firm AG2R La Mondiale and French automobile manufacturer Citroën. The team is predominantly French.
The Larry H. Miller Tour of Utah, is an annual multiday road cycling race; traversing the states of Idaho, Utah, and Wyoming. Since the 2011 edition, the tour holds UCI classification. Between five and six UCI WorldTeams compete annually. Due to its altitude, distance, and weather conditions, the tour is nicknamed: "America's Toughest Stage Race". In 2010, only 71 of the initial 140 riders finished. After receiving 2.1 status in 2011, a stronger field participated; 88 of the initial 120 competitors finished. In September 2014, it was announced that the race was promoted to 2.HC status, from 2015 and onwards.

The 2021 Giro d'Italia will be the 104th edition of the Giro d'Italia, a three-week Grand Tour cycling stage race. The race is scheduled to start 8 May and finish on 30 May. On 26 May 2019, the race organizers RCS Sport originally announced that the start of the 2021 Giro would be in Sicily, Italy. However, on 4 February 2021, RCS Sport announced that the race will instead start in Turin, with the rest of the race route being announced on 24 February 2021.

The 205.4 kilometres (127.6 mi) long race started in Quaregnon and finished in Dour, with almost four laps of a finishing circuit that featured several cobbled sections and climbs.
