The Ukrainian Pontifical College of Saint Josaphat is a Pontifical College in Rome, for seminarians and priests of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church. Its patron saint is Josaphat Kuntsevych. It also includes the church of San Giosafat al Gianicolo, one of Ukraine's national churches in Rome.
The origins of the Ukrainian College date back to the 16th century and were at first closely linked with the Greek Pontifical College of Saint Athanasius, which was founded in 1576. That college was not only attended by Greek and Greek-speaking seminarians but also by Ukrainians until 1897, except for the period between 1803 and 1845, when the Greek College was closed.
On 18 December 1897 Pope Leo XIII approved the foundation of a separate Ukrainian college and in 1904 the Basilian Order of St Josaphat/Order of Saint Basil the Great (who also had the General Curia in Rome, Italy) transferred into the college. It was first sited on Piazza Madonna dei Monti, but on 13 November 1932 a new building was opened for it on the Janiculum Hill. It now has between 20 and 50 students and its rector is Father Genesio Viomar OSBM.

The Order of Saint Basil the Great also known as the Basilian Order of Saint Josaphat is a Greek Catholic Church monastic order of Pontifical Right for men that is present in many countries and has its Mother House in Via S. Giosafat 8, 00153 Rome, Italy. The order received approbation on August 20, 1631, and was based at the Holy Trinity monastery in Vilnius. Its monks, brothers, and priests work primarily with Ukrainian Catholics and are also present in other Greek-Catholic churches in central and eastern Europe. Its members add the nominal letters O.S.B.M. after their names to indicate their membership in the congregation.
Santi Sergio e Bacco is a Catholic church of the Byzantine Rite located on Piazza Madonna dei Monti in the rione of Monti in Rome, Italy. Saints Sergius and Bacchus are said to have been early fourth-century Roman military officers and Christian martyrs buried in Syria. In the 9th century the church was known as Sergius and Bacchus in Callinico, in the Middle Ages as Sergius and Bacchus de Suburra, and from the 18th century forward has been known also as the church of Madonna del Pascolo. Since 1970 it has been a national church of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church in Rome and was known officially as the "Parish of Ukrainian Catholics of Madonna del Pascolo and Saints Sergius and Bacchus." Since 2019 the church serves as a cathedral for the Ukrainian Catholic Apostolic Exarchate of Italy.
Bishop Hlib Borys Sviatoslav Lonchyna is eparchial Bishop Emeritus of the Ukrainian Catholic Eparchy of the Holy Family of London since 1 September 2019. He had served as bishop from 18 January 2013. Previously, he served as the Apostolic Exarch for Ukrainian Catholics in Great Britain since 14 June 2011.
The Roman Colleges, also referred to as the Pontifical Colleges in Rome, are institutions established and maintained in Rome for the education of future ecclesiastics of the Roman Catholic Church. Traditionally many were for students of a particular nationality. The colleges are halls of residence in which the students follow the usual seminary exercises of piety, study in private, and review the subjects treated in class. In some colleges there are special courses of instruction but the regular courses in philosophy and theology are given in a few large central institutions, such as Pontifical Urbaniana University, the Pontifical Gregorian University, the Pontifical Lateran University, and the Pontifical University of Saint Thomas Aquinas, Angelicum.
