Umesh Patwal is an Indian cricketer and cricket coach. He was head coach of the Everest Premier League team Pokhara Rhinos. Now he is currently the head coach of Nepal Premier League team Chitwan Rhinos [1] . He is former coach of Nepalese cricket team [2] and former batting coach of Afghanistan cricket team. [3] He has been working as coach and consultant from couple of years. He was also the assistant coach of Indian Premier League (IPL) team Kochi Tuskers Kerala in year 2011. In 2018 Patwal was technical director of Nepalese Franchise league Pokhara Premier League.[ citation needed ]

Everest Premier League (EPL) was a franchise Twenty20 cricket tournament organized by EPL Pvt. Ltd., a private group in Nepal. It was the biggest cricket tournament in the country, played during the northern winter calendar, mostly in the month of December. It was played in round-robin format in which top four teams qualify for the playoffs. The tournament was renowned for having high attendance among the domestic cricket of the ICC associate nations. The first edition of the tournament was held in September 2016 with six franchises consisting of domestic and international players. Chitwan Tigers are the defending champions after winning the 2021 season.

The 2021 Everest Premier League, also known as EPL4 or Bajaj Pulsar EPL for sponsorship reasons, was the fourth edition of the Everest Premier League, a professional men's domestic Twenty20 cricket competition in Nepal. The event was initially scheduled for December 2019, before being postponed multiple times. Lalitpur Patriots were the defending champions, having won their first title in 2018, but were eliminated in the group stage after finishing fifth.

Aasif Sheikh is a Nepalese cricketer, who plays as right-handed wicket-keeper-batsman. He made his debut for Nepal against the Netherlands in a Twenty20 International in April 2021. He is renowned for his classical batting style. He is the only Nepalese player with over 10 ODI cricket half-centuries, with 12 to be precise.

Jaykishan Anilbhai Kolsawala is an Indian cricketer. He has played cricket across all three of the major domestic formats in India for the Baroda cricket team as well as playing cricket in Nepal for Lalitpur Patriots since 2017 in the Everest Premier League. He has also played for Kathmandu Golden Warriors in Nepal's domestic Pokhara Premier League and for CYC Attariya in the Dhangadhi Premier League.

The Nepal T20 League was a Nepalese men's Twenty20 cricket league which was established by the Cricket Association of Nepal in 2022. The only edition of the tournament was held from 24 December 2022 to 11 January 2023, before it was scrapped and replaced by the Nepal Premier League.
