Ungdommens Naturvidenskabelige Forening (UNF) (English: The Danish Youth Association of Science) is an association for young Danish people interested in science. It was founded in 1944 by interested high school teachers who were members of the society for the spreading of knowledge of the natural sciences (Danish : Selskabet for Naturlærens Udbredelse, SNU). The primary purpose of the association is to promote science to youth and give the already interested youth the possibility to gain a deeper insight in science. [1]

The national association, UNF Danmark, has seven local chapters in the major cities; Copenhagen, Aarhus, Odense, Lyngby, Esbjerg, Slagelse, and Aalborg.

ScienceCamps

Every year during the school summer holidays (July–August), UNF organises the so-called ScienceCamps. The aim of these ScienceCamps is to give young people an opportunity to meet others with similar interests and to spread interest in specific science subjects.

Over the years, UNF has organised ScienceCamps in the fields of Mathematics, Computer Science, Biotechnology, Physics, Chemistry, Medicine, Environmental Technology, ScienceShow, Game Development and Software Development.

Published material

A series of teaching material [2] and a children's book [3] have been published by the organization and is available on Danish libraries.

Higher education in Denmark is offered by a range of universities, university colleges, business academies and specialised institutions. The national higher education system is in accordance with the Bologna Process, with bachelor's degrees, master's degrees and doctoral degrees. The Kvindeligaen is the top professional league for Danish women's handball clubs. It is administered by the Danish Handball Federation, and the winners are recognized as Danish champions. The league was previously called Bambusa Kvindeligaen for sponsorship reasons. It has previously been known as HTH GO Ligaen, Primo Tours Ligaen, Boxer Dameligaen, TOMS Ligaen and GuldBageren Ligaen. The current title holder is Team Esbjerg (2023). The European Handball Federation (EHF) ranks the Danish league 4th in the coefficients of leagues based on performances in European competitions over the past seasons.

There are over 1000 km of motorways in Denmark. They are all numbered and have formal names. The first motorway in Denmark opened in 1956 with the name Hørsholmvejen. Today this motorway is called Helsingørmotorvejen and is numbered E47.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">High-speed rail in Denmark</span>

The first high-speed railway in Denmark was the Copenhagen–Ringsted Line, completed in late 2018 and opened in 2019. Further high-speed lines are currently under planning.

The 2016–17 Odense Boldklub season was the club's 128th season, and their 55th appearance in the Danish Superliga. As well as the Superliga, the side were also competing in the DBU Pokalen. After a bad start to the season, they finished strong in the regular season as 11th. With a strong relegation round, they finished second and went forward in the European play-offs against Silkeborg IF.

The 2019–20 Odense Boldklub season was the club's 131st season, and their 58th appearance in the Danish Superliga. As well as the Superliga, the side is also competing in Sydbank Pokalen.

The 1963–64 Danish Cup was the 10th installment of the Danish Cup, the national association football cup competition in Denmark. This year's edition began with the regional qualifying rounds among the lower ranking members of the six regional governing bodies in early May 1963, and concluded with the grand cup final on 7 May 1964. A total of 707 clubs participated in the cup tournament – the highest number of teams since the cup's foundation. 671 teams were registered for the qualifying rounds, of which only 44 teams would quality for the proper rounds, under the auspices of the Danish FA's tournament committee, joined by 36 additional teams from the first, second and third divisions in the Danish football league system.

The 1964 Danish 2nd Division was the twenty-ninth season of the Danish second-tier association football division since the establishment of Danmarksturneringen's nation-wide league structure in 1927. Governed by the Danish FA, the season was launched on 29 March 1964, with the match between Ikast FS and Vanløse IF, and the last round of matches concluded in November 1964. Aalborg BK and Køge BK entered as relegated teams from last season's top-flight, while Hvidovre IF and Næstved IF entered as promoted teams from the 1963 Danish 3rd Division. Fixtures for the 1964 season were announced in February 1964.

Carl Werner Hansen, commonly known as Carl W. Hansen, is a Danish former football referee and linesman, who officiated in the Danish top-flight, second-tier and third-tier including lower ranking leagues in the 1950s and 1960s and in both European and UEFA sanctioned club tournaments. From 1962 until 1969, he was a full international for FIFA, and officiated international friendlies and competitive games at senior, secondary 'B' team and under-19 level.

The 2020–21 Danish Cup, also known as Sydbank Pokalen, was the 67th season of the Danish Cup competition.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Constituencies of Denmark</span> Constituencies used for elections to the Folketing

Constituencies are used for elections to the Folketing, the national parliament of Denmark. Denmark proper is divided into 10 constituencies largely corresponding to the Provinces of Denmark, each electing multiple members using open-list proportional representation. Those constituencies are then divided into 92 opstillingskredse which mainly serve the purpose of nominating candidates, but historically functioned as single-member constituencies electing one member using plurality voting.

Governed by the Danish FA, the season was launched on 26 March 1964 with two fixtures and concluded with the last four matches on 15 November 1964. Skovshoved IF and Hellerup IK entered as relegated teams from last season's second division, while Svendborg fB and Nakskov BK entered as promoted teams from the 1963 Kvalifikationsturneringen. The twelve teams in the division entered the 1964–65 Danish Cup in the cup tournament's first round proper.

The National Union of Students in Denmark, is an umbrella organisation of students' unions at higher education facilities in Denmark. Since 1932, DSF has represented the students of Denmark in matter of education policy.

The 2021–22 Danish Cup, also known as Sydbank Pokalen, is the 68th season of the Danish Cup competition. The winner is qualified for the Europa League play-off round.
