Plot
Lando (Rizky Hanggono) was a photographer whose fiancée had just left him. In his distress, he met a busway ticket counter girl called Kalin (Dian Sastrowardoyo). Lando's passion for life was revived, but it didn't last long. Without apparent reason, Lando left Kalin, who became very angry and heart-broken.
As time passed, Lando, still in distress, found that Kalin had become a supermodel, and saw her presence everywhere.
Lando yearned to see Kalin again and explain why he had left her. He finally got the opportunity and met Kalin, but this encounter again ended tragically as Kalin ran into an accident and turned blind. Later on, Kalin obtained a cornea donor that enabled her to see again, but she could not seem to find Lando, whom she was actually very much in love with.
Ada Apa Dengan Cinta? is a 2002 Indonesian romantic drama film directed by Rudy Soedjarwo. The Indonesian title is a play on words, as Cinta is also the name of the main character. As such, the title can be translated as "What's Up with Love?" as well as "What's Up with Cinta?", meaning the person. The movie is known as Beautiful Days in Japan. Shortly after its success, What's Up with Cinta? was adapted into a sinetron version.

The film takes place 14 years after the events of the first film and tells how Cinta and Rangga are dealing with their lives after their off screen break-up before finally meeting each other again as old unresolved sparks and feelings begin to emerge from both former lovers.

It features an ensemble cast, with Dian Sastrowardoyo starring in the title role of Indonesian woman emancipation heroine, Kartini. Christine Hakim, Acha Septriasa, Ayushita, Adinia Wirasti, and Reza Rahadian co-stars in supporting roles. Initially to be released on 2016, the film was delayed for a year. The film was released in Indonesia on 19 April 2017, two days before Kartini's day. Although being highly anticipated, the film turned out to perform below expectations. It gained just over 500 thousands viewers, a small viewership for a big budgeted local film. Despite turning a profitable venture, it is still considered an unexpected boxoffice disappointment for failing to reach less than 1 million viewers.

Directed by Edwin, it is the second film produced by Palari Films, this time in collaborations with CJ Entertainment, Phoenix Films, and GoStudio. The story focuses on the friendships and romantic entanglement involving two men and two women all in their 30s with thematic references to local culinary wealth. Dian Sastrowardoyo stars as an epidemiologist tasked to investigate a suspected bird flu outbreak.
