History

Historically, the UCKG had its programs present after midnight on large networks such as Las Estrellas. [1]

On 22 November 2022, El Heraldo TV requested IFT to create channel 8.3, given to the UCKG for the Mexican Unife network. With a generalist profile, it aimed to compete with channel 8.1. The station was set to be the first religious outlet in Mexico City, due to its connections to the church. Studio-based entertainment, debate, cultural and talk show programs, aimed mainly at viewers over the age of 13, were in the IFT application. [2]

The channel launched on 28 January 2023. [3]

On 4 September 2024, Unife launched on Canal 13's transmitter network, on subchannel 13.2. This enabled the nineteen Telsusa (Albavisión) transmitters to have access to the network, increasing its coverage. [1]

Programming

Unife airs religious programming, including dubbed versions Record's biblical telenovelas and basic religious formats such as Revelando misterios and La última puerta. Both types of content are also seen on other UCKG television outlets in Latin America. The station also airs a large amount of secular programming. Its news operation consists of programs such as Unife News, La voz de la ciudad and N360 AM. [1]

The network aired productions from the Colombian Caracol network since its launch.

It also aired the secular Record title Amor sem igual in the channel's first year (premiered 19 June 2023). [6]
