Union Football Club d'Ixelles was a Belgian football club that took part in the first Belgian Championship in 1895. They finished 7th and therefore last in the league, which resulted in their relegation, and they were never able to come close to returning to the top flight. The club then dissolved in 1901.

It was founded in 1894 as Ixelles Sporting Club but the name was changed to Sporting Club de Bruxelles before the first Belgian Championship was held in 1895–96. The club finished 3rd behind F.C. Liégeois and Antwerp FC. However, the club withdrew during the next season and was dissolved.

Royal Léopold FC is a Belgian football club from the city of Brussels. It was founded in 1893 as Léopold Football Club and over the years, numerous name changes in its history and mergers have happened with neighboring clubs who also struggled to keep the club alive. The club once played in the highest division, but later dropped to the provincial series, and now it currently plays in the Belgian Promotion D, the fourth level in Belgian football.
Samuel Hickson was an English footballer who played as a forward for Belgian club Liège between 1895 and 1903. He was topscorer in the Belgian First Division in the 1895–96 and 1896–97 seasons.
Adolphus Franciscus "Frank" König was a Belgian footballer who played as a forward for Belgian club Racing Club de Bruxelles. He was also a manager who coached the Belgian squad that participated in the football tournament at the 1900 Summer Olympics. He was also a referee who refereed the first game of the Netherlands national team. He was also a founding member of the Belgian Football Association in 1895. He was topscorer in the Belgian First Division in two back-to-back seasons in 1898 and 1899. Besides being an outstanding football player, he was also an outstanding athlete who also performed in other modalities, notably athletics.
