Unity High School is a public high school located in the village of Tolono in Champaign County, Illinois, United States. In 2007, 467 students attended the grade 9-12 school. It is the only high school in Community Unit School District (CUSD) Seven. Unity Junior High School, Unity West Elementary, and Unity East Elementary feed into UHS. The school serves the towns and villages of Tolono, Philo, Sidney, Sadorus, and Pesotum, as well as 173 square miles (450 km2) of rural farmland. 10 miles (16 km) south of the Champaign-Urbana urban area, the school is over 95% Caucasian, as is typical for the rural region. Unity is a member of the Illini Prairie Conference, an athletic conference made up of central Illinois schools with similar enrollments. Unity had been a charter member of the Okaw Valley Conference from 1958 to 1984, before rejoining the conference in 2006.

United High School or UHS, is a public four-year high schoollocated at 1905 100th Street near Monmouth, Illinois, a city of Warren County, Illinois, in the Midwestern United States. UHS is part of United Community Unit School District 304, which also includes United Junior High School, United North Elementary School, and United West Elementary School. Despite the Alexis United misnomer sometimes used to describe the high school, the campus is actually located 2 miles east of Monmouth, IL, though the district's north campus and one of the elementary schools is located in Alexis, Illinois. The misnomer is due to the district office previously being located in Alexis, Illinois. It has since been moved to the high school campus. The school serves a mixed city fringe, village, and rural residential community on the outskirts of the city of Monmouth, in the villages of Alexis, Kirkwood, Little York, North Henderson, and the unincorporated communities of Cameron and Gerlaw. Illini West High School High school in Carthage, Illinois

Illini West High School (IWHS) is a public high school in Carthage, Illinois, United States. IWHS serves a mostly rural area that includes most of northeastern Hancock County and extends into parts of Henderson and McDonough Counties, covering the cities of Carthage, Dallas City, and La Harpe, and the village of Ferris. The Okaw Valley Conference was a high school athletic conference in the Illinois High School Association (IHSA), based in Central Illinois. The conference consisted of medium-sized and small high schools. It merged with the Corn Belt Conference to form the Illini Prairie Conference in the 2017-18 school year.

John "Rocky" Ryan is a former American professional football player who was a Defensive Back in the National Football League (NFL) in the late 1950s. Ryan played college football for the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He was selected in the second round of the 1954 NFL Draft, and played professionally for the Philadelphia Eagles and Chicago Bears of the NFL.
