Guadalajara is a city in western Mexico and the capital of the state of Jalisco. According to the 2020 census, the city has a population of 1,385,629 people, making it the 7th most populous city in Mexico, while the Guadalajara metropolitan area has a population of 5,268,642 people, making it the third-largest metropolitan area in the country and the twentieth largest metropolitan area in the Americas. Guadalajara has the second-highest population density in Mexico, with over 10,361 people per square kilometer. Within Mexico, Guadalajara is a center of business, arts and culture, technology and tourism; as well as the economic center of the Bajío region. It usually ranks among the 100 most productive and globally competitive cities in the world. It is home to numerous landmarks, including Guadalajara Cathedral, the Teatro Degollado, the Templo Expiatorio, the UNESCO World Heritage site Hospicio Cabañas, and the San Juan de Dios Market—the largest indoor market in Latin America.
Ixtlahuacán del Rio is a town and municipality in the center of the Mexican state of Jalisco, a little less than 50 kilometres (31 mi) from state capital Guadalajara. It stands at 1,655 metres (5,430 ft) above sea level; the climate is semi-arid, with a mild winter and an average annual temperature of 19 °C (66 °F).
Atemajac de Brizuela is a municipality and small town in the southeast sierra of Jalisco, Mexico, 64 km southwest of Guadalajara, between Highways 80 and 401. The municipality had a population of 6,367 in 2014.
Zapopan is a city and municipality located in the Mexican state of Jalisco. Part of the Guadalajara Metropolitan Area, the population of Zapopan city proper makes it the largest city in the state, very close behind the population of Guadalajara proper. It is best known as the home of the Virgin of Zapopan, an image of the Virgin Mary which was made in the 16th century. This image has been credited with a number of miracles and has been recognized by popes and even visited by Pope John Paul II. The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Toluca is a metropolitan archdiocese of the Catholic Church. Along with the Dioceses of Acapulco, Chilapa and Tacámbaro, it lost territory when the Diocese of Ciudad Altamirano was erected in 1964. It further lost territory in 1984 with the formation of the Diocese of Atlacomulco. On 26 November 2009, it lost territory again when Pope Benedict XVI created another suffragan diocese for the Archdiocese of Mexico, the Diocese of Tenancingo.

The Museo Regional de la Cerámica in Tlaquepaque, Jalisco, Mexico is located on Independencia Street in the center of the city. The museum is one of two main ceramics museums in the city, with the other being the Pantaleon Panduro Museum. It was established in 1954 to preserve and promote indigenous handcrafts of Jalisco, especially the state’s ceramic tradition. The emphasis is still on ceramics but the museum also has a room dedicated to Huichol art and holds events related to various types of indigenous crafts and culture.

Bricio played in the 2009 FIVB Girls Youth World Championship and again in 2011, finishing twelfth. Yellow Quill 90 is an Indian reserve of the Yellow Quill First Nation in Saskatchewan on the eastern shore of Nut Lake. It is about 19 kilometres (12 mi) north-west of Kelvington. In the 2016 Canadian Census, it recorded a population of 436 living in 110 of its 121 total private dwellings. In the same year, its Community Well-Being index was calculated at 45 of 100, compared to 58.4 for the average First Nations community and 77.5 for the average non-Indigenous community.
Line 4 of the Guadalajara Urban Electric Train System will be, when completed, its fourth line. It will be 21.7 km (13.5 mi) long and will run from the Fray Angélico bus station of Mi Macro Calzada to the municipal capital of Tlajomulco. Daily ridership is estimated to be 106,000 passengers, and construction will cost 9.137 billion Mexican pesos. The works began officially on 22 May 2022.
