Unlearning is the second studio album by Canadian Singer/Songwriter Matt Brouwer. It was released independently in February 2005 on Brouwer's website and in digital distribution and later in stores through various distribution avenues. It's been hailed by critics as Brouwer's most honest and intimate recording to date. [1] The album was well received by Brouwer's audience and the single "I Shall Believe" charted in the top 30 on Billboard's Christian songs chart in 2006. [2]

Matt Brouwer Canadian singer

Matt Brouwer is a Canadian singer and songwriter. While in college, he and fellow students founded the band Monday Night Worship (MNW). Because of the spiritual content of his lyrics he was 'discovered' by a Nashville record company in 2000, and in 2001 recorded his solo debut CD Imagerical. The album was released on May 29, 2001 on Reunion Records. He then formed his own label called Black Shoe Records and released albums titled Unlearning in 2005, Where's Our Revolution (Universal) in 2009, and Till The Sunrise in 2012. Brouwer's music has been hailed for its relentless vulnerability as he shares his life's story of tragedy and hope with his listeners.

A Merry Little Christmas is the first Christmas release by Canadian singer-songwriter Matt Brouwer. The seven song collection was released on December 7, 2010, through Universal Music Distribution. The album includes "Angels Sing", an original composition written by Brouwer, as well as a cover of the Goo Goo Dolls hit "Better Days" that charted for Brouwer on the Billboard Christian chart in January 2011. Brouwer's version of the song was added to regular, non-seasonal CCM playlists on Air1 and KLOVE Christian stations throughout the following year.
