Up Here in the Clouds is the second album from Cindytalk released by Editions Mego. All tracks were written and recorded by Gordon Sharp, 2003–10. [1]
Up Here in the Clouds is the second installment in the new Cindytalk sound which started [with] last years The Crackle Of My Soul. Whereas Crackle was more of a blistering burner, Clouds has a fresher cooler sound to it, with longer tracks that slowly evolve in great patches of aural beauty. The sound that Gordon Sharp and co create now is a unique blend of cracked electronics, near awkward ambient textures that always seem to flow smoothly like the most natural of sounds around, building up a great set of modern electronic music which closes with the child like melody of the title track.

Mego was an experimental electronic music independent record label based in Vienna, Austria. The label has been superseded by a new company, Editions Mego, which was set up both to keep Mego albums in print and to issue new albums, run by Peter Rehberg a.k.a. Pita.
Christian Fennesz is a producer and guitarist active in electronic music since the 1990s, often credited simply by his last name. His work utilizes guitar and laptop computers to blend melody with treated samples and glitch production. He lives and works in Vienna, and currently records on the UK label Touch.
F♯ A♯ ∞ is the debut studio album by Canadian post-rock band Godspeed You! Black Emperor. It was first released on August 14, 1997, through Constellation Records on a single LP and on June 8, 1998, through Kranky on CD. The CD version and the LP version have substantial differences between them. Recorded at the Hotel2Tango in the Mile End of Montreal, the album, as became common for the band, is devoid of traditional lyrics and is mostly instrumental, featuring lengthy songs segmented into movements. It was initially released in limited quantities, and distributed through live performances and developed a cult following via word of mouth.
Oren Ambarchi is an Australian musician. He is a multi-instrumentalist who plays mainly electric guitar and percussion.
Joshua Robert Hampson is an English musician and composer, known primarily as a guitarist in the band Loop, which he co-founded in London in 1985 with his then-girlfriend Becky "Bex" Stewart. Loop recorded three albums, the last of which, A Gilded Eternity (1990), made the UK Albums Chart. Following the band's breakup, Hampson formed the experimental project Main with Scott Dawson.
Bruce Clifford Gilbert is an English musician. One of the founding members of the influential and experimental art punk band Wire, he branched out into electronic music, performance art, music production, and DJing during the band's extended periods of inactivity. He left Wire in 2004, and has since been focusing on solo work and collaborations with visual artists and fellow experimental musicians.
Ilpo Väisänen is a Finnish electronic musician. He is best known as a member of Pan Sonic. In addition to his real name, he has recorded under the aliases I-LP-O In Dub, I-LP-ON, Liima and Piiri. Together with Dirk Dresselhaus he founded the project Angel, later renamed Die Angel.
William Emmanuel Bevan, known by his recording alias Burial, is a British electronic musician from South London. Initially remaining anonymous, Burial became the first artist signed to Kode9's electronic label Hyperdub in 2005. He won acclaim the following year for his self-titled debut album, an influential release in the UK's dubstep scene which showcased a dark, emotive take on UK rave music styles such as UK garage and 2-step; it was named the album of the year by The Wire. Burial's second album, Untrue, was released to further critical acclaim in 2007.
Cindytalk is an experimental music project, founded in 1982. Cindytalk operated as a group for many years, but more recently has been a solo project by Cinder, a Scottish performer and the only constant member since 1982.

Secrets And Falling is the 1991 EP from Cindytalk released by Midnight Music. "Empty Hand" differs slightly from the versions on Wappinschaw and the Sound From Hands compilation. Features images and samples from the film El Espiritu De La Colmena by Victor Erice. Midnight Music folded shortly after this was released. Mara Bressi is a member of Black Rose.
Cinder, sometimes known as Cinder Sharp, is a Scottish singer, musician and record producer. She has led several music projects since 1976, the most significant and long-standing being Cindytalk. Cinder has gained a reputation for an unflinchingly experimental approach to music and ideas.
Tao of the Dead is the seventh studio album by Texas rock band ...And You Will Know Us by the Trail of Dead. The first single, "Summer of All Dead Souls", was posted on Spin.com on November 11, 2010, and later on SoundCloud. The digital single released officially on November 29. The album released on CD digipak format, including a limited edition two-disc booklet with 30 minutes of bonus music.

The Bravest Man in the Universe is the twenty-seventh and final studio album by the American soul artist Bobby Womack. Marc Carroll is an Irish musician, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. He has released 7 albums and 23 singles. He is currently signed to One Little Indian Records, who released his most recent studio album, Love Is All Or Love Is Not At All on 6 November 2015. The label also released remastered and expanded editions of his first 4 albums in February 2014. He has received considerable critical acclaim for his recorded output but has never reached any significant level of mainstream success. The Irish Times newspaper have called him "One of Ireland's great lost songwriters, touched by genius and whose dealings with the music industry have become the stuff of legend", and British rock critic Fred Deller wrote in Mojo Magazine that his work was "deserving of a far wider audience."
Plekzationz is a studio album by Nick Edwards, released on the label Editions Mego. Like past Edwards' releases, the ambient industrial drone and dub record was recorded by feeling spiritual, meaning he "drift[ed] off" "concentrating on the moment" during recording but never remembered how the recording went once it ended. However, the making of three of the four tracks on the record was different from the development of his past works, in that fine-tuning of small details of a recording took place afterwards. Reviews of the album were very favorable.
