The Urs-e-Makhdoom-e-Jahan or Urs of Sharfuddin Yahya Maneri is a Five-days long annual event organised commemorating the Sufi saint Sharfuddin Ahmed Yahya Maneri. [1] [2] [3] It is organised at the Dargah Makhdoom-e-Jahan at Badi Dargah, Bihar Sharif. [4] The Urs is attended by Chief Minister of Bihar, [5] [6] Minority Welfare Minister of Bihar and other politicians too. [7] [8] It is attended by the people whoever in Sufism and it is revered for people of Bihar.

It came under the provision of the Central Waqf Act 1954 in year 1973. It has another split of Bihar State Shia Waqf Board. The State Government of Bihar had enacted a new act named Bihar Waqf Act 1995 and constituted Bihar State Sunni Waqf Board with a new department on 3 October 2001.

The Bihar State Haj Committee is a statutory body for Haj pilgrimage under the Ministry of Minority Welfare in Government of Bihar. It is located at the Ali Imam Path on the Harding Road, Patna in the Indian state of Bihar. It is built and managed under the Hajj Committee of India, and recognised under the Haj Committee Act, 2002. The committee runs a Haj House at Patna, the State capital named Patna Haj Bhawan. It is chaired by the Alhaj Abdul Haque as the chairman. The committee looks over the Haj pilgrimage in the state of Bihar. The Patna Haj Bhawan was inaugurated by Nitish Kumar, Chief Minister of Bihar on 17 October 2007.

Badi Dargah also known as Khanquah-e-Mozzamia is the Shrine of Makhdoom Sheikh Syed Sharfuddin Ahmad Yahya Maneri, a Sufi saint from Bihar. He is buried under the Dargah. The Urs-e-Makhdoom-e-Jahan is celebrated on 5th of Shawwal as per Hijri calendar here every year. This Dargah is recognised under the Bihar Tourism.

Peer Makhdoom Syed Shah Daulat Maneri was an Indian Sufi saint. He was the Sufi saint of Suhrawardiya order. He is buried under the Chhoti Dargah, Maner Sharif in Patna, the state capital of Bihar. His tomb was constructed by the then Governor of Bihar, Ibrahim Khan Kankar. He is the descendant of Makhdoom Yahya Maneri.

Sufi Festival is an annual two-days Sufi Music Festival held in Bibi Kamal Dargah, Kako Sharif in the Jehanabad district of Bihar to commemorate the death anniversary of the Sufi Saint Bibi Kamal, daughter of Shahabuddin Peer Jagjot. Makhdoom Syed Minhajuddin Rasti Gilani Firdausi (1250-1381) was a Sufi saint of the Suhrawardiyya Silsila. He was disciple and mureed of the Syed Sheikh Sharfuddin Yehya Maneri. He was died in Phulwari Sharif and laid to rest at Tamtam Padhav in Phulwari Sharif, Patna, Bihar. He is known to be the first sufi saint who came to Phulwari Sharif.

Haj Bhawan is a complex in the Patna district in Bihar, India. It provides accommodations for Muslims on their way to Hajj. It is run by the Bihar State Haj Committee. it was inaugurated by the Chief Minister of Bihar, Nitish Kumar on 17 October 2007.

Meri Raftaar Pe Suraj Ki Kiran Naaz Kare is the state prayer of the Indian state of Bihar. The lyrics were written by Mohammad Raza Chishti, an Urdu teacher from Marwan block of Muzaffarpur and composed by Udit Narayan. This song was officially adopted by Government of Bihar on 19 March 2012. This song was officially recognised as the school anthem for government schools in Bihar.

Pind Sharif Dargah is a dargah located in Pind Sharif village of Sheikhpura district in Bihar of Syed Shah Tajuddin Shakir, Syed Shah Quamrul Hoda, Syed Shah Hasanul Hoda, Syed Shah Ahsanul Hoda and Syed Shah Rizwanul Hoda, Sufi Saints of Qadriyyah order. Syed Shah Faizanul Hoda is the present Sajjadanasheen of Dargah after the death of his father Syed Shah Rizwanul Hoda.
