Ursula "Billy" Bowers [1] (born 1989 or 1990) [2] is a Welsh netball player who has represented Wales internationally.

In her youth, she played for Deeside Netball Club. [3]

In 1999, Bowers represented Wales at the Fena Open Championship in Malta and played in 9 of 10 world championship matches in New Zealand. [2] In 2001, she spent a year in New Zealand playing for Canterbury Flames. [4]

She captained Team Bath in the 2006 Netball Super League (the first season since establishment in 2005), [5] [ failed verification ] leading the team to victory of 43–35 in the final against Galleria Mavericks. [6] [7] This win was repeated in 2007 (53–45), [8] her second year of captaincy,[ citation needed ] making Team Bath one of only four teams to win the league in successive years. [5] In both years she played Goal Defence.

In 2006, she represented Wales in the Commonwealth Games hosted in Melbourne, Australia. [9]
