V. K. Chinnasamy is an Indian politician and former Member of the Legislative Assembly of Tamil Nadu. He was elected to the Tamil Nadu legislative assembly as an Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam candidate from Bhavanisagar constituency in 1977, 1984 and 1991 elections [1] [2] [3] and as an Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (Jayalalitha) candidate in 1989 election. Maduranthakam C. Arumugam, popularly known as Madhuranthagathar, was an Indian politician and former Member of the Legislative Assembly of Tamil Nadu. He was elected to the Tamil Nadu legislative assembly from Maduranthakam constituency as a Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam candidate in 1971, 1977, and 1984. He was also Chengalpattu District secretary for Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam from 1971 to 1993. He was a close associate of Dravida Munetra Kazhagam chief Thiru M.Karunanidhi and he was a member of the Dravida Munetra Kazhagam Trust. He fought hard and won the 1984 Assembly elections against 90 people, then protested against Hindi imposition, burnt the copy of the Constitution of India. He was jailed for 45 days and was disqualified from Tamil Nadu Legislative assembly. He died on June 2, 2005.

Sathyavani Muthu was an Indian politician and an influential leader from Chennai, Tamil Nadu. She was a Member of the Legislative Assembly of Tamil Nadu, Rajya Sabha member and Union Minister. She began her political career as a member of Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam, began her own party, Thazhthapattor Munnetra Kazhagam and later joined the Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam. In late 1990s, she again joined in DMK.

Nanjil K. Manoharan was an Indian politician and former Member of the Legislative Assembly of Tamil Nadu. He was Tamil Nadu's minister of Finance during 1977–1980 and minister of Revenue during 1996–2000.
