The Dicționar moldovenesc-românesc is a dictionary compiled by Vasile Stati and published in 2003 in Chișinău in Moldova. Being the first and only one of its kind, it contains 19,000 allegedly Moldovan words that are explained in Romanian. Its publishing was followed by a wave of criticism both in the Republic of Moldova and Romania. Strongly challenged by the Moldovan historian community, the "Moldovan-Romanian Dictionary" is considered nonsensical by most linguists in Chișinău, being nothing more than a lexicon of rarely used or obsolete words, archaisms and regionalisms specific to the Moldavian dialect of the Romanian language.
The unification of Moldova and Romania is a popular concept in the two countries that began during the Revolutions of 1989. The Romanian Revolution in 1989 and the independence of Moldova in 1991 further contributed to the development of a movement for the unification of the two Romanian-speaking countries. The question of reunification is recurrent in the public sphere of the two countries, often as a speculation, both as a goal and a danger. Though historically Romanian support for unification was high, a 2022 survey during the Russian invasion of Ukraine indicated that only 11% of Romania's population supports an immediate union, while over 42% think it is not the moment.

Initially it was created to be the first news television of Republic of Moldova. But on 5 March 2011 it was transformed into a general television. Doina and Ion Aldea Teodorovici was a Moldovan musical duo consisting of married couple Doina and Ion Aldea Teodorovici. The group disbanded in 1992, after both members died in a road traffic accident in Coşereni. Today, there is a monument to them there, as well as another in Chişinău.

He was the chairman of the Democratic Party of Moldova and previously was a member of the Parliament of Moldova for three terms, and served as First Deputy Speaker of the Parliament of Moldova. Until leaving the territory of the Republic of Moldova in 2019, he was considered to be the powerhouse of Moldovan politics in matters of influence, controlling Moldova's government and parliamentary majority. Since fleeing Moldova in June 2019, Plahotniuc has resided in Turkey.

She graduated from the Law School of Moldova State University. Nata Albot served as the general producer of Jurnal TV from March 2010 until July 2013. She also worked as the director of Radio Pro FM Chișinău, reporter for Pro TV, Director of TV reality talent show "Star Academy" at Prime TV. Also, as a freelancer, has produced the TV series "Aventura Americană" about Moldovan students summers spent with work and travel in the United States.
