Valentyna Mykolaivna Yeshchenko (born 10 August 1946) is a Ukrainian political activist, Honored Doctor of Ukraine, and chief physician of Novopetrivtsi District Hospital, Vyshgorod District, Kyiv Region. People's Deputy of Ukraine of the 1st convocation.
Valentyna Yeshchenko was born on 10 August 1946 to an employee family. From 1961 to 1964, she studied at the Nizhyn medical school in the Chernihiv region. [1]
In 1964–1966, Yeshchenko worked as a nurse at Kulykivka District Hospital, Chernihiv Region. From 1966 to 1967, she was a nurse in the surgical department of the Sumy City Hospital. Since 1967, Yeshchenko has been a nurse in the 2nd therapeutic department of Kyiv Clinical Hospital No. 22. [2]
In 1967–1974, Yeshchenko studied at the Bogomolets Kyiv State Medical Institute, graduating as a therapist. [1] From 1974 to 1975, she was an intern at the Kyiv Regional Clinical Hospital.
In 1975, Yeshchenko worked as a radiologist at the Dymer district hospital of the Kyiv region. [2] From 1975 to 1987, she worked as a radiologist at the Novopetrivtsi Hospital of Vyshgorod district, Kyiv region. [2] Since 1987, Yeshchenko has been the chief physician of Novopetrivtsi District Hospital. [2]
On March 18, 1990, Yeshchenko was elected a People's Deputy of Ukraine of the first convocation. She was a member of the "Center" political group. Since October 1992, Yeshchenko has been a secretary of the Commission of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for women's affairs, family protection, motherhood, and childhood. [1]
Since 1994, Yeshchenko worked at the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Belarus. [3] She was a member of the Labor Congress of Ukraine and a member of the All-Ukrainian political association "Women for the Future."
In 2002, Yeshechenko was the director of the Vyshgorod interdistrict executive directorate of the Kyiv regional branch of the Social Insurance Fund. Now she is retired.

Oleg Kalashnikov was a Ukrainian politician, born in Rivne, Ukrainian SSR. He was a member of the Party of Regions, Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of V convocation. On 15 April 2015 he was shot to death at his home in Kyiv. On 16 April Ukrainian journalist Oles Buzina was shot to death in Kyiv as well. A Ukrainian nationalist group calling itself Ukrainian Insurgent Army allegedly claimed responsibility for these and other murders in an email containing "grammatical mistakes not typical for a native Ukrainian speaker". The authenticity of the claim was questioned by the Ukrainian government as well as the very existence of the named group.
Olena Serhijivna Sotnyk is a Ukrainian lawyer and politician, former Member of the Parliament of Ukraine from Samopomich ("Self-Reliance") Party. She was the secretary of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on European integration; Sotnyk served as a Head of the Sub-committee on Approximation of Ukrainian Legislation to the EU Law. Shed co-chaired the Inter-Parliamentary Relations Unit with Belgium. She was Chairman of the Committee on Legal Affairs and Human Rights at the PACE, a member of the Bureau of Women's Parliamentarians in the Inter-Parliamentary Union and a vice-president of political group the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe in the PACE. Sotnyk was the first female to represent Ukraine in the Yale World Fellows Program. She was one of the most successful women of Ukraine in 2019 according to the "New Time" and "Legal Newspaper".
Serhiy Holovatyi is a Ukrainian lawyer, politician, former member of parliament, and former Minister of Justice of Ukraine. He is a judge of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine and has been the Acting Chairman of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine since December 29, 2020.
