Valery Fedorenko is a Russian world record kettlebell lifter and coach who founded the World Kettlebell Club in 2006. [2] [3] While competing in Kettlebell lifting, Fedorenko achieved the title of "Honored Master of Sport", [4] which is the sport's highest level of recognized skill. [5]

Kettlebell lifting

Kettlebell Sport lifting is a repetitive weight lifting sport performed with kettlebells in a given period of time. Competitive kettlebell lifting has a long history in Russia and Eastern Europe, but developed as an organised, standard sport under the name kettlebell lifting during the 1960s.

Feodor Fedorenko Holocaust perpetrator

Feodor Fedorenko, or Fyodor Federenko was a war criminal serving at Treblinka extermination camp in German occupied Poland during World War II. As a former Soviet citizen admitted to the United States under a DPA visa (1949), Fedorenko became a naturalized U.S. citizen in 1970. He was discovered in 1977 and denaturalized in 1981. Subsequently, he was extradited to the USSR, sentenced there to death for treason against his nation and participation in the Holocaust, and was executed.

Kettlebell swing

Kettlebell swing is a basic ballistic exercise used to train the posterior chain in a manner similar to broad jumping. It involves moving the bell in a pendulum motion from between the knees to anywhere between eye level to fully overhead and can be performed either two-handed or using one hand. There are three versions of kettlebell swing: Russian Swing, American Swing and Sport Style Swing.
