The Pindus is a mountain range located in northern Greece and southern Albania. It is roughly 160 km long, with a maximum elevation of 2,637m. Because it runs along the border of Thessaly and Epirus, the Pindus range is known colloquially as the spine of Greece. The mountain range stretches from near the Greek-Albanian border in Northern Epirus, entering the Epirus and Macedonia regions in northern Greece down to the north of the Peloponnese. Geologically it is an extension of the Dinaric Alps, which dominate the western region of the Balkan Peninsula.
Valia Kakouti, born 1981 in Athens, won the Miss Star Hellas 2004 title and was chosen to represent Greece at the Miss Universe 2004 pageant held in Quito, Ecuador. Her face has appeared in numerous fashion magazines such as Maxim and KLIK. She is also a professional ballet dancer and teacher.
Valea Adîncă is a commune in Camenca District, in the northern part of Transnistria, Moldova. The name in Romanian means "deep valley". It is composed of two villages, Constantinovca and Valea Adîncă.
Vovousa is a village and a former community in the Ioannina regional unit, Epirus, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Zagori, of which it is a municipal unit. The municipal unit has an area of 51.029 km2. It is one of the original Zagori villages. Population 115 (2011). The name possibly derives from "Voiousa" or "Vovousa" related to the Greek word "vous" for "bull". Vovousa is a traditional Aromanian-speaking settlement.

Lygkos, also transliterated as Lyngos or Lygos, is a remote mountain range in the eastern Ioannina and the western Grevena regional unit in northwestern Greece. It is a part of the Pindus mountain range. Its highest point is the Avgo, at 2,177 m elevation. The Lygkos mountains lie in a horseshoe shape around the Valia Kalda valley, which exits towards the Aoos valley to the west. The Valia Kalda is part of the Pindus-Valia Kalda National Park, founded in 1966. It is one of the coldest and wettest regions of Greece. The mountains are densely forested, with alpine meadows in the highest elevations.
St. Thomas Mar Thoma Church, Pallipad is a church in Pallipad, Kerala, India. Called "Pallipad Valia Pally", the current structure was built in 1933. The congregation numbers more than 1200 members. Mar Thoma Valia Palli, pride of Pallipad, is a symbol of faith and determination, completed 100 years of glorious spiritual service. As a part of centenary celebration, a newly build Function Hall was dedicated to public on 1 September 2007.

Pindus National Park, also known as Valia Calda, is a national park in mainland Greece, situated in an isolated mountainous area at the periphery of West Macedonia and Epirus, in the northeastern part of the Pindus mountain range. It was established in 1966 and covers an area of 6,927 hectares. The park's core zone, 3,360 hectares, covers the greatest part of the Valia Calda valley and the slopes of the surrounding peaks.
Kodungallur Kovilakam, is a palace of the royal family of the late [medieval] Kingdom of Kodungallur (Cranganore), in the modern-day Indian state of Kerala. Kodungallur was a feudal principality subordinate to the rulers of the Kingdom of Cochin from the later half of the eighteenth century until Indian independence. The Kingdom of Kodungallur was under the protection of the Dutch government after 1707 for a few years before returning to its allegiance to the Zamorin.
