Valia College is an education institute, established in 1961, run by Cosmopolitan Education Society located at D.N. Nagar, in Andheri West, Mumbai. [3] The college is affiliated with University of Mumbai and accredited by NAAC. In 1961, it was the spirit of idealism that inspired a group of like minded residents of D. N. Nagar, Andheri (W) to establish a quality educational institution. Thus, was the Cosmopolitan Education Society was born. Under its Aegis, the society runs the Valia College of Commerce and Arts which offers various programmes at undergraduate and post-graduate levels. [4] [5] [6]
Kurla is a suburb of East Mumbai, India. It is the headquarters of the Kurla taluka of Mumbai Suburban district. The neighbourhood is named after the eponymous East Indian village that it grew out of. It falls under Zone 5, Ward 'L' of the Bombay Municipal Corporation. Sardar Patel College of Engineering (SPCE) is a government-aided autonomous engineering college located in Mumbai, India. The Blue Line of the Mumbai Metro 1, or the Versova-Andheri-Ghatkopar Line, is part of the metro system for the city of Mumbai, India. The 11.40 km (7.08 mi) line is fully elevated, and consists of 12 stations from Versova to Ghatkopar. The line connects the eastern and western suburbs of Mumbai. It was built at an estimated cost of ₹4,321 crore (US$540 million) and is operated by the Metro One Operation Pvt Ltd (MOOPL) on a 5-year contract. This special purpose vehicle, namely, Mumbai Metro One Private Limited was incorporated for the implementation of the project. Reliance Infrastructure holds 74% of the equity share capital of MMOPL, and remaining 26% is with MMRDA.
