Oscar Emmanuel Peterson was a Canadian jazz pianist and composer. Considered a virtuoso and one of the greatest jazz pianists of all time, Peterson released more than 200 recordings, won eight Grammy Awards, as well as a lifetime achievement award from the Recording Academy, and received numerous other awards and honours. He played thousands of concerts worldwide in a career lasting more than 60 years. He was called the "Maharaja of the keyboard" by Duke Ellington, simply "O.P." by his friends, and informally in the jazz community, "the King of inside swing".

Harry Manx is a Canadian musician who blends blues, folk music, and Hindustani classical music. His official website describes his music as being a "blend Indian folk melodies with slide guitar blues, add a sprinkle of gospel and some compelling grooves and you'll get Manx's unique "mysticssippi" flavour." Manx plays the slide guitar, harmonica, six-string banjo, mohan veena and Ellis stomp box. He studied for five years in India with Vishwa Mohan Bhatt. Bhatt is the inventor of the 20-stringed mohan veena, which has become Manx's signature instrument. He has released twelve albums in twelve years, and has his own record label Dog My Cats Records. He has received much recognition and many awards, including: seven Maple Blues Awards, six Juno nominations, the Canadian Folk Music Award in 2005 for Best Solo Artist, and CBC Radio’s "Great Canadian Blues Award" in 2007.
Gil Moore is a Canadian musician. Born in Toronto, Moore was the drummer and co-vocalist of the power trio Triumph. Before Moore was in Triumph he was in a band called Sherman & Peabody which also featured Buzz Shearman of Moxy and Greg Godovitz of Goddo.

Syed Zameer Ali Amjad Rizvi also known by his stage name Zameer, is a Canadian singer-songwriter. His song about social injustice against athletes with disabilities, "Win or Defeat", was licensed as a theme song by the 2010 Paralympic Games. Rizvi went on to perform the song at the 2010 Olympic Games. Rizvi garnered further success with strong sales of his debut album From Under the Bleachers from which the single "Glory of Love" rose to the 73rd spot on the Billboard Hot 100 charts. Several songs on From Under the Bleachers touched on controversial subject matter which created a social media storm and helped him climb to the top of Billboard's social media charts at No. 1 in 2012.

It was founded by Vikas Kohli in 2011 and is organized by monstrARTity Creative Community, a not-for-profit arts organization. The event features artists from many genres of music and dance, including Bollywood, Tollywood, rock, disco, and pop, as well as food vendors and family-friendly activities. Notable acts who have performed at the festival include Sunny Leone, Aaman Trikha and Yasser Desai.
