The foreign relations of North Macedonia since its independence in 1991 have been characterized by the country's efforts to gain membership in international organizations such as NATO and the European Union and to gain international recognition under its previous constitutional name, overshadowed by a long-standing, dead-locked dispute with neighboring Greece. Greek objections to the country's name had led to it being admitted to the United Nations and several other international fora only under the provisional designation Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia until its official and erga omnes renaming to North Macedonia, a name under which it is now universally recognised.

Zoran Jolevski is a Macedonian diplomat and the former Minister of Defense of the Republic of Macedonia. He is married to Suzana Jolevska, and together they have two sons, Pero (1988) and Filip (1992).
Libya–Russia relations are the bilateral relations between the State of Libya and the Russian Federation. Russia has an embassy in Tripoli, with Libya having an embassy in Moscow. Diplomatic contact between Russia and Libya has generally been close and productive, seeing as both countries have had and continue to see volatile relations with the United States. Former Libyan leader Muammar al-Gaddafi was a close ally of the Soviet Union, despite his country's membership in the Non-Aligned Movement. Georgi Velikov Panayotov is a Bulgarian politician who was a minister in the Yanev II government, serving as Minister of Defence of Bulgaria. He is currently the Ambassador of Bulgaria to the United States since May 2022. He has held numerous posts in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bulgaria and in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs department for the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. He was the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Bulgaria to the United Nations.
