Vasilis Anastopoulos (born 20 December 1975) is a Greek former cyclist [1] and a cyclist trainer. Since 2019 he works for Quick-Step Cycling Team, training Mark Cavendish among others. [2]
Team Vorarlberg is a cycling team based in Austria. The team was founded in 1999 by the twin brothers Thomas Kofler and Johannes Kofler and previously known as Team Volksbank. In 2009, the Austrian federal state of Vorarlberg replaced Volksbank as title sponsor. In 2006 it became the first ever Austrian professional cycling team and was registered as a UCI Professional Continental team until June 2010, when their UCI license was suspended due to financial insecurity. The team was later re-registered as a UCI Continental team, and retained that status in 2011.
Peter Velits is a Slovakian former professional road racing cyclist. His career highlights included third place overall and a stage win at the 2010 Vuelta a España, the 2007 World Under-23 Road Race Championships gold and the 2012 Tour of Oman overall victory. Velits was also known as strong time-trialist, winning three consecutive team time trials as a part of Omega Pharma–Quick-Step in 2012 and 2013 and riding on the BMC Racing Team in 2014 UCI Road World Championships. His twin brother, Martin Velits also competed professionally, having raced on the same teams every year until the end of the 2013 season.
Michael Mørkøv Christensen is a Danish professional racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam Astana Qazaqstan Team. He is the brother of racing cyclists Jacob and Jesper Mørkøv.
Ioannis Tamouridis is a Greek former professional cyclist from Thessaloniki, Greece. He started cycling in 1995 and he competed in the road and track disciplines. Tamouridis now works as a directeur sportif for UCI WorldTeam Intermarché–Wanty.
