Vaux was an American six-piece alternative rock band from Denver, Colorado, United States.
Vaux was formed in 1997 in Denver, Colorado, under the original name Eiffel. They released a 7" single themselves, To Write A Symphony, in 1998. Indie label Undecided Records signed the band after they had toured the East Coast extensively for two years, and the band's debut album Audiblenarcotic was released in 2000. The album was a minor success on college radio, and the band earned a spot on the 2001 Warped Tour. In July 2002, for legal reasons, the band had to change its name, deciding on Vaux.
In 2002, Vaux moved to Orange County independent label Volcom Entertainment and released the EP On Life; Living, and the following year, second full-length There Must Be Some Way to Stop Them. The album received widespread critical acclaim, prompting Alternative Press magazine to include Vaux in their 100 Bands to Watch feature. During this time, the band embarked upon successful tours supporting Thrice, My Chemical Romance, Coheed and Cambria and The Used.
In January 2004 Vaux signed to major label Atlantic Records's then subsidiary imprint Lava Records . Shortly after, the band released a 5-song EP, Plague Music , on Equal Vision Records. The band's major label debut, Beyond Virtue, Beyond Vice was due for release on November 8, 2005. However, Lava Records broke away from Atlantic, thus ending the scheduled release of the band's album. Vaux severed ties with Atlantic, eventually regaining control of the album masters. The band then released the album themselves via Outlook Records, which was also available to purchase on their last headlining tour and was available on their webstore in limited quantities. [1]
On Tuesday, 22 August 2006, the song Are You With Me was released as the Single of the Week in the iTunes Music Store. It also featured in the 2010 film From Paris With Love .
Citing "lost momentum" the band announced their split in 2007. Their final show was on July 28, 2007 at the Bluebird Theater in Denver, CO. [2]
Guttermouth is an American punk rock band formed in 1988 in Huntington Beach, California and currently recording for Rude Records. They have released nine full-length studio albums and two live albums and have toured extensively, including performances on the Vans Warped Tour. They are infamous for their outrageous lyrics and behavior which are deliberately explicit, offensive and intended to shock, though usually in a humorous and sarcastic manner. This behavior has sometimes resulted in high-profile problems for the band, such as being banned from performing in Canada for eighteen months and leaving the 2004 Warped Tour amidst controversy over their political views and attitudes towards other performers.
Happy Mondays are an English rock band formed in Salford in 1980. The band's original line-up was Shaun Ryder (vocals), his brother Paul Ryder (bass), Gary Whelan (drums), Paul Davis (keyboard), and Mark Day (guitar). Mark "Bez" Berry later joined the band onstage as a dancer/percussionist. Rowetta joined the band as a vocalist in 1990.
Further Seems Forever is an American rock band formed in 1998 in Pompano Beach, Florida. Over its initial eight-year run the band experienced several lineup changes, resulting in a different lead vocalist performing on each of their first three studio albums. Original singer Chris Carrabba recorded The Moon Is Down (2001) with the group before leaving to start Dashboard Confessional. He was replaced by Jason Gleason, who performed on How to Start a Fire (2003) but left the band the following year. Former Sense Field vocalist Jon Bunch joined Further Seems Forever for Hide Nothing (2004). The band broke up in 2006 but reunited four years later with Carrabba on vocals. Their fourth studio album, Penny Black, was released in 2012.
Pepper is a three-piece reggae rock band originally from Hawaii, now based in San Diego. The band consists of vocalist/guitarist Kaleo Wassman, vocalist/bassist Bret Bollinger, and drummer Yesod Williams. Since the band's formation they have released eight studio albums, as well as two live albums.
16 Horsepower was an American alternative country music group based in Denver, Colorado, United States. Their music often invoked religious imagery dealing with conflict, redemption, punishment, and guilt through David Eugene Edwards's lyrics and the heavy use of traditional bluegrass, gospel, and Appalachian instrumentation cross-bred with rock. For the bulk of its career, the band consisted of Edwards, Jean-Yves Tola, and Pascal Humbert, the latter two formerly of the French band Passion Fodder. After releasing four studio albums and touring extensively, the group broke up in 2005, citing "mostly political and spiritual" differences. The members remain active in the groups Woven Hand and Lilium.
Planes Mistaken for Stars is an American rock band formed in Peoria, Illinois in 1997. Working with several different labels, they released three studio albums and four EPs before breaking up in 2008. While rooted in the post-hardcore and emo scenes of the turn of the century, Planes Mistaken for Stars developed a distinctive musical style strongly influenced by heavy metal and rock and roll. Reuniting for live performances in 2010, they went on to release their fourth album Prey in 2016.

Their 2009 album, The Hot N' Heavy, was charted by Billboard at No. 6 on the Top Heatseekers chart, No. 23 on the Independent Albums chart, and No. 192 on The Billboard 200.

Aeternus is a Norwegian blackened death metal band from Bergen, Norway. It was formed in 1993 as an idea of Ronny Hovland, calling himself Ares, and Erik Heggernes, a.k.a. Vrolok. Later in 1996 Nicola Trier, a.k.a. Morrigan, joined the duo as a bass player, forming the core trio that created the band's first two albums.
