Vaux was an American six-piece alternative rock band from Denver, Colorado, United States.
Vaux was formed in 1997 in Denver, Colorado, under the original name Eiffel. They released a 7" single themselves, To Write A Symphony, in 1998. Indie label Undecided Records signed the band after they had toured the East Coast extensively for two years, and the band's debut album Audiblenarcotic was released in 2000. The album was a minor success on college radio, and the band earned a spot on the 2001 Warped Tour. In July 2002, for legal reasons, the band had to change its name, deciding on Vaux.
In 2002, Vaux moved to Orange County independent label Volcom Entertainment and released the EP On Life; Living, and the following year, second full-length There Must Be Some Way to Stop Them. The album received widespread critical acclaim, prompting Alternative Press magazine to include Vaux in their 100 Bands to Watch feature. During this time, the band embarked upon successful tours supporting Thrice, My Chemical Romance, Coheed and Cambria and The Used.
In January 2004 Vaux signed to major label Atlantic Records's then subsidiary imprint Lava Records. Shortly after, the band released a 5-song EP, Plague Music , on Equal Vision Records. The band's major label debut, Beyond Virtue, Beyond Vice was due for release on November 8, 2005. [1] However, in October 2005, Lava Records head Jason Flom was fired and the band's management quit. At the end of the month, Vaux was dropped from Atlantic for unclear reasons. [2] [3] After six months, the band regained control of the album masters. [4] The band then released the album themselves via Outlook Records, which was also available to purchase on their last headlining tour and was available on their webstore in limited quantities. [5]
On Tuesday, 22 August 2006, the song Are You With Me was released as the Single of the Week in the iTunes Music Store. It also featured in the 2010 film From Paris With Love .
Citing "lost momentum" the band announced their split in 2007. Their final show was on July 28, 2007 at the Bluebird Theater in Denver, CO. [4]
Guttermouth is an American punk rock band formed in 1989 in Huntington Beach, California. They have released nine full-length studio albums and two live albums and have toured extensively, including performances on the Vans Warped Tour. They are infamous for their outrageous lyrics and behavior which are deliberately explicit, offensive and intended to shock, though usually in a humorous and sarcastic manner. This behavior has sometimes resulted in high-profile problems for the band, such as being banned from performing in Canada for eighteen months and leaving the 2004 Warped Tour amidst controversy over their political views and attitudes towards other performers.
Happy Mondays are an English rock band formed in Salford in 1980. The original line-up consisted of brothers Shaun Ryder (vocals) and Paul Ryder (bass), Gaz Whelan (drums), Paul Davis (keyboard), and Mark Day (guitar). 16 Horsepower was an American country rock band based in Denver, Colorado, United States. Their music often invoked religious imagery dealing with conflict, redemption, punishment, and guilt through David Eugene Edwards's lyrics and the heavy use of traditional bluegrass, gospel, and Appalachian instrumentation cross-bred with rock. For the bulk of its career, the band consisted of Edwards, Jean-Yves Tola, and Pascal Humbert, the latter two formerly of the French band Passion Fodder. After releasing four studio albums and touring extensively, the group broke up in 2005, citing "mostly political and spiritual" differences. The members remain active in the groups Wovenhand and Lilium.

Undecided Records was an American independent record label established in 1998 by Clifford Wiener and Alexander Kenny. The record company was founded in Loxahatchee, Florida but its headquarters moved around in various parts of Palm Beach County, Florida; first to Boca Raton, then to Parkland, and finally to Lake Worth. The record label released hardcore, metalcore, noisecore, post-hardcore, and emo music, with a principally North American roster of artists spanning from the late 1990s to the mid-2000s. Undecided Records released music on vinyl records, compact discs, and digital audio formats, with distribution in the United States originally through Revelation Records, then through Victory Records, and finally through Sony/RED Music. Wiener and Kenny were both closely associated with Eulogy Recordings, where they worked in their free time.
