Visakhapatnam East Assembly constituency is a constituency in Visakhapatnam district of Andhra Pradesh that elects representatives to the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly in India. It is one of the seven assembly segments of the Visakhapatnam Lok Sabha constituency.
The 2024 Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly election were held in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh on 13 May 2024 for constituting the sixteenth Andhra Pradesh Assembly. They were held alongside the 2024 Indian general election. Election results were declared on 4 June 2024.
The fifteenth Legislative Assembly of Andhra Pradesh was formed by the members elected in the 2019 Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly election. Election to Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly took place in single phase on 11th April 2019 by the Election Commission of India. Counting started officially on the morning of 23 May 2019 and the results were declared on the same day.

He defeated Dronamraju Srinivasa Rao of YSR Congress Party by a margin of 3,729 votes. He later resigned from TDP and shifted to YSR Congress party and is nominated to contest from the same seat representing YSRCP in the 2024 Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly Election.
Annamreddy Adeep Raj is an Indian politician from Andhra Pradesh. He won the 2019 Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly Election from Pendurthi Constituency in Visakhapatnam district on YSR Congress Party ticket. He is a first time MLA,who won against senior TDP leader and former minister Bandaru Satyanarayana Murthy by a margin of 28,860 votes. Despite some factions in the party opposing his candidature,YSR Congress Party has confirmed his name to contest the Pendurthi Assembly Constituency for the 2024 election. The Pendurthi constituency has a reputation not to elect the same candidate twice. He did not win against Panchakarla Ramesh Babu in 2024 AP Assembly election's.

Pinnelli RamakrishnaReddy is an Indian politician from Andhra Pradesh. He is an MLA of YSR Congress Party from Macherla Assembly Constituency in Guntur District. He won the 2019 Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly Election. He is nominated again by the YSR Congress Party to contest the Macherla seat in the 2024 Assembly Election and lost.
Silpa Chakrapani Reddy is an Indian politician from Andhra Pradesh. He is an MLA of YSR Congress Party from Srisailam Assembly Constituency in Kurnool District.
