Haji Kalimullah Khan, popularly known as Mango man, is an Indian horticulturist and fruit breeder, known for his accomplishments in breeding mangoes and other fruits. He is known to have grown over 300 different varieties of mangoes on a single tree, using grafting techniques. Born in Malihabad, near Lucknow in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, Khan dropped out of school at 7th standard and took to the family business of farming. Using the asexual propagation technique of grafting, he has developed several new varieties of mangoes, some of which has been named after celebrities and political leader such as Sachin Tendulkar, Aishwarya Rai, Akhilesh Yadav, Sonia Gandhi, Narendra Modi, Amit Shah etc. Anarkali, a variety of mango developed by him is reported to have two different skins and two different layers of pulp, each having a different taste. The Government of India awarded him the fourth highest civilian honour of the Padma Shri, in 2008, for his contributions to horticulture.
Goriparthi Narasimha Raju Yadav is an Indian farmer, known for his achievements in agricultural farming. Hailing from the Guduru village, in Krishna district, in the south Indian state of Andhra Pradesh, he is reported to have recorded harvests such as 7.5 to 8.3 tonnes of Pusa Basmati 1 rice per hectare, 3 tonnes of black gram per hectare, and 4 to 5 tonnes of groundnut per hectare. He is also known to have grown a horsegram creeper with over 10,000 branches and a mango tree in his farm yielded 22,000 mangoes in a single season. He has been associated with the expert committees of the Indian Rice Development Council (IRDC) and the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) as a member and is a recipient of several awards including Krishaka Ratna, Krishi Ratna, Krishi Samrat and the Jagjivan Ram Kisan Puraskar (1999) of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research. The Government of India awarded him the fourth highest civilian honour of the Padma Shri, in 2009, for his contributions to agriculture.
Anumolu Ramakrishna (1939–2013) was an Indian civil and structural engineer, corporate executive and the deputy managing director of Larsen & Toubro Construction, the largest construction company in India as per 2013 statistics. He was credited with the introduction of system formwork and precast and prestressed concrete technologies in Indian construction industry, procedures which helped increase productivity, and was a co-founder of the India chapter of FSL - Global Forum on Structural Longevity. The Government of India awarded him the third highest civilian honour of the Padma Bhushan, posthumously in 2014, for his contributions to science and technology.
Girish Bharadwaj is an Indian social worker often referred to as Sethu Bandhu and Bridgeman of India for building around 127 bridges in remote villages across India. He was conferred the Padma Shri award in 2017.

Bharat Bhushan Tyagi is an India farmer, educator and trainer from Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh, who was awarded the Padma Shri, the fourth highest civilian award in India in 2019. He organises weekly training for farmers at Bulandshahr and has trained over 80,000 farmers. He is also a recipient of Progressive Farmer Award by the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi.
