The Ventura Corporate Towers is an office building in the Centro neighbourhood of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, fronting the avenue between Chile and Lavradio, the street in front of the Rio de Janeiro Cathedral. It was built by Camargo Correa in partnership with Tishman Speyer, who together invested 500,000,000 reais. Designed by Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates, the building has achieved LEED certification, by presenting streamlined and intelligent use of water. Moreover, the special glass provides natural lighting and is not so warm inside the building, reducing expenses with chilled air and light. Together with the Ventura Corporate Tower II, the venture will strengthen the corridor's commercial avenues in Chile, formed by the BNDES, Petrobras, and Caixa Economica Federal. The tower is 140 meters tall, with 36 floors and a heliport.

Niterói is a municipality in the state of Rio de Janeiro, in the southeast region of Brazil. It lies across Guanabara Bay, facing the city of Rio de Janeiro and forming part of the Rio de Janeiro Metropolitan Area. The Sambadrome Marquês de Sapucaí is a purpose-built parade area built for the Rio Carnival in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The venue is also known as Passarela Professor Darcy Ribeiro or simply the Sambódromo in Portuguese or Sambadrome in English. It is located in the downtown area of Cidade Nova in Rio de Janeiro, and is the place where samba schools parade competitively each year during the Rio Carnival. The parades attract many thousands of Brazilians and foreign tourists each year, and the structure is also used as a multi-purpose performance venue. The structures of the Sambadrome were designed by the architect Oscar Niemeyer (1907–2012), and represent his first major work after the end of the Brazilian dictatorship of 1964–1985.

Paço de São Cristóvão was an imperial palace located in the Quinta da Boa Vista park in the Imperial Neighbourhood of São Cristóvão, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. It served as residence to the Portuguese royal family and later to the Brazilian imperial family until 1889, when the country became a republic through a coup d'état deposing Emperor Pedro II. The palace briefly served as a public building by the provisional government for the constituent assembly of the first republican constitution. It housed the major part (92.5%) of the collections of the National Museum of Brazil, which, together with the building, were largely destroyed by a fire on 2 September 2018.

Castelo is a region in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, but not officially recognized as a neighborhood, and officially forms part of the Centro neighborhood. It is generally considered to be located in the region between Avenida Rio Branco, the Santos Dumont Airport and Praça Quinze de Novembro. The area derives its name from the former Morro do Castelo in that location, which was demolished by water jets in the 1920s. As most of the buildings in the area were designed and built in the first half of the twentieth century, after the demolition of Morro do Castelo in 1921, the region became home to a large collection of Art Deco buildings. Art Deco was the prevalent architectural style in Rio de Janeiro at that time.

Trump Towers Rio is a proposed five-tower office and mixed-use complex that was to be built in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The project was announced in 2012, and was to be developed by MRP International. The project was named after Donald Trump as part of a licensing deal through his company, The Trump Organization. Each tower was to stand 38 stories high; if built, Trump Towers Rio would become the largest office complex in Brazil.
520 Fifth Avenue is a mixed-use supertall building under construction at Fifth Avenue and 43rd Street in the Midtown Manhattan neighborhood of New York City. The building occupies the former site of three structures. Mickey Rabina is developing the building, and architectural firm Kohn Pedersen Fox designed the structure and serves as architect of record. The interior design is by Charles & Co.
