Verity James is an Australian funeral celebrant and a former ABC News Television and radio presenter. [1]
Born in Sydney, James joined the Australian Broadcasting Corporation in Bega, New South Wales in 1984. Three years later she moved to Perth, where she has been a fixture on the Western Australia media scene ever since.
James worked as a full-time presenter on 720 ABC Perth until 2004, when after an extended period of long service leave, she decided to pursue other interests. Despite this, James continued to work intermittently on 720, filling in for regular presenters when they took leave. She was a regular on ABC TV's Can We Help? , and after Greg Pearce left radio to join Perth's National Nine News team in February 2008, James took over his early morning shift on 720 ABC Perth.
Verity has hosted the visits of the Dalai Lama, has recorded voice overs for a variety of events and commercials.
She now works as a funeral celebrant. [2]

TVW is a television station broadcasting in Perth, Western Australia, wholly owned by Seven West Media. It was the first television station in Western Australia, commencing broadcasting on 16 October 1959. It broadcasts a modulated 64-QAM signal of five DVB channels. The primary channel was available as a PAL-B modulated simulcast on VHF channel 7 at 182.25 MHz before being discontinued in the first half of 2013; it had been the station's primary signal since its inception. The TVW callsign stands for TV (Television) Western Australia.
ABC Radio Perth is the on-air identifier of a radio station located in Perth, Western Australia, operated by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, and broadcasting at 720 kHz AM. It is the flagship ABC Local Radio station in Western Australia. The station was established under the Sealed Set scheme by Westralian Farmers in 1924, sold to the Commonwealth Government in 1928 and provided with programmes by the Australian Broadcasting Company, became part of the Australian Broadcasting Commission in 1932, which became the Australian Broadcasting Corporation in 1983.

Basil Anthony Zempilas is an Australian television and radio presenter, sports commentator and politician based in Perth, Western Australia. Zempilas presented sport until 2022 on Seven News Perth, Monday to Thursday and from January 2014 until 11 December 2020 co-hosted Perth radio station 6PR's breakfast program with Steve Mills. He is also a member of the Seven Network's AFL football commentary team. Zempilas has commentated on the Olympics and several other major sporting events, was formerly with radio station 92.9 in Perth and has previously been a co-host of Weekend Sunrise. In 2020, Zempilas was elected Lord Mayor of Perth.

Eoin Harrap Cameron was an Australian radio personality in Perth, Western Australia and member of the Australian House of Representatives. Until August 2015 he presented the ABC's Perth local station 720 ABC Perth breakfast show, regularly receiving top ratings for the most popular breakfast radio show. In August 2015 he took extended leave while recovering from surgery as a result of a 2013 car accident. In January 2016 he announced that he was retiring, but would return to the studio "temporarily ... to say a proper goodbye to listeners". His last day at the ABC was 11 March.

Dorinda Cox was then elected as the Australian Greens Senator for Western Australia at the 2022 Federal Election.
