Career

Prakash born in 1966, hails from Ayyanthole in Thrissur, India. He took graduation in stage acting from School of Drama, Thrissur. He made his acting debut in 1987 with the Malayalam film Theertham . He received his stage name after his character "Vettukili" in the film Ennodu Ishtam Koodamo . He was active in the 1990s, typecasted in supporting comedy roles. In 2017, he appeared in Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum in a serious role, which helped to break his typecasting. [1] [2]

Narendran Makan Jayakanthan Vaka is a 2001 Indian Malayalam-language satirical film directed by Sathyan Anthikkad and written by Sreenivasan. The film stars Kunchacko Boban and Samyuktha Varma and Asin. The story follows Jayakanthan, who comes from Kumbakonam, to his late father's village in Paruthippara, Kannur district, to claim his father's property. The film marks the acting debut of Asin, aged sixteen; however this remained her first and only Malayalam film to date. The film released on 24 August 2001 coinciding with the festival of Onam. The film was remade in Telugu as Idemi Oorura Babu (2002).
