Narendran Makan Jayakanthan Vaka is a 2001 Indian Malayalam-language satirical film directed by Sathyan Anthikkad and written by Sreenivasan. The film stars Kunchacko Boban and Samyuktha Varma and Asin. The story follows Jayakanthan, who comes from Kumbakonam, to his late father's village in Paruthippara, Kannur district, to claim his father's property. The film marks the acting debut of Asin, aged sixteen; however this remained her first and only Malayalam film to date. The film released on 24 August 2001 coinciding with the festival of Onam. The film was remade in Telugu as Idemi Oorura Babu (2002).
Pranav Mohanlal is an Indian actor who works in Malayalam films. The son of actor Mohanlal, he acted as child in Onnaman (2002) with his father in the lead role, and won the Kerala State Film Award for Best Child Artist for Punarjani (2003). As an adult, he worked as an assistant director before starring in such films as Aadhi (2018) and Hridayam (2022).

Prasanth Mambully is an Indian film director, screen writer and actor from Guruvayur, Kerala. He started his movie career by acting in Malayalam films, and later in 2008, made his directorial debut with Bhagavan. Bhagavan was completed in 19 hours, which was a world record at that time in Malayalam film industry.
