Vic Latino (born Victor J. Canales [1] in Long Island, New York) is an American radio and television personality of Spanish descent. He is co-founder of JVC Broadcasting which owns radio stations on Long Island and in the state of Florida. [2]

Radio

Canales began his radio career as part of Ed Lover and Doctor Dré's morning show on Hot 97. He later moved to Long Island stations WBLI and WXXP , also WPYO in Orlando, Florida before landing a position at WKTU, where he helped make the station's p.m.-drive show the city's second-highest rated, behind only Funkmaster Flex's around the same time until November 2006.

James Roberts, better known as Ed Lover, is an American rapper, actor, musician, radio personality, and former MTV VJ. He hosted "The Ed Lover Show" on SiriusXM's old-school hip hop station, BackSpin. As of April 12, 2018, he hosts the morning show at classic hip-hop "104.3 Jams" WBMX in Chicago.

André "Doctor Dré" Brown is an American radio personality and former MTV VJ.

WQHT radio station

WQHT – also known as "Hot 97" – is an American radio station licensed to New York City under the corporate ownership of Emmis Communications. WQHT primarily plays hip hop-leaning urban contemporary hits and occasionally a pop-leaning rhythmic title. WQHT's studios are located in the Hudson Square neighborhood of Manhattan, and its transmitter is located at the Empire State Building. The station broadcasts in the HD format.
