Vicious and Delicious was a professional wrestling tag team composed of Scott Norton and Buff Bagwell who competed in World Championship Wrestling from 1996 to 1998.

History

Formation

Previously, Marcus Alexander Bagwell had been working on a tag team called The American Males, alongside Scotty Riggs. Scott Norton, having recently seen his tag team Fire and Ice (with Ice Train) break up, had been doing very little.

WCW President Eric Bischoff had recently been outed as the man behind the New World Order, and he extended an ultimatum to the WCW roster: Join the nWo, or be targeted by it. Norton and Bagwell were two of the wrestlers that answered the call, Bagwell turning on Riggs in the process. [1]

The team

Vicious and Delicious fought mainly in the midcards against the nWo's enemies. They were usually accompanied to the ring by the nWo "Head of Security" Vincent, and often teamed with Konnan, [2] another nWo midcarder.

They fought with The Steiner Brothers, [2] [3] but they were never able to win the tag team titles. The tag title scene in WCW was dominated by a feud between The Steiner Brothers and the Outsiders through most of 1997 and 1998, and as The Outsiders and Vicious and Delicious were teammates in the nWo, there was little room for Vicious and Delicious to advance in the division.

As Scott Norton was splitting his time between WCW and New Japan Pro-Wrestling, the tag team was inactive as often as not, with Bagwell wrestling singles while Norton was in Japan.

Breakup

On the April 22, 1998 episode of WCW Thunder, Bagwell was severely injured by a flying bulldog off the top rope from Rick Steiner. [4] With Bagwell injured, the team was quietly dropped. Norton would spend the rest of his WCW career mainly winning squash matches in the lower midcard, while Bagwell, once recovered, moved on to team with Scott Steiner.

The Steiner Brothers Professional wrestling tag team

The Steiner Brothers are the professional wrestling tag team of American brothers Robert "Rick Steiner" Rechsteiner and Scott "Scott Steiner" Rechsteiner.

The American Males were a professional wrestling tag team in World Championship Wrestling (WCW) composed of Marcus Bagwell and Scotty Riggs. Their gimmick was of two "pretty boys" who were fond of their own bodies and popular with women. Riggs was Bagwell's third partner with whom he won the WCW World Tag Team Championship, the previous two being 2 Cold Scorpio and The Patriot. The American Males won the tag team title soon after they began teaming together but soon dropped the belts back to Harlem Heat, the previous champions. Bagwell and Riggs did not return to main-event status, and they eventually split up and feuded with each other.

Kenneth M. Stasiowski is an American former professional wrestler. He is best known for his stint with World Championship Wrestling, where he performed under the ring name Kenny Kaos and wrestled as a part of the tag team High Voltage with partner Robbie Rage. During his stint in WCW, Stasiowski became a one time World Tag Team Champion with Rick Steiner.

High Voltage was a tag team in World Championship Wrestling between 1996 and 1998. The team consisted of Robbie Rage and Kenny Kaos. The team regularly appeared on WCW Saturday Night and WCW World Wide. They were not successful on WCW Monday Nitro. They also feuded with nWo Japan in New Japan Pro-Wrestling.

Souled Out (1997) was the inaugural Souled Out professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by World Championship Wrestling (WCW). The event took place on January 25, 1997 from the Five Seasons Center in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The pay-per-view was presented by the nWo in storyline and the official title of the event was nWo Souled Out. It was an nWo-themed pay-per-view, with nWo official referee Nick Patrick officiating all of the matches by wearing an nWo T-shirt and cap and the group's members Eric Bischoff and Ted DiBiase providing commentary.
