Vicky Chen (born Chen Hsin-yue on November 20, 1995) is a Taiwanese Mandopop singer-songwriter.
Chen was born on November 20, 1995, in Taipei, Taiwan. She majored in English at Fu Jen Catholic University. [1]
Chen participated in Jungle Voice 2, a Taiwanese reality singing competition, in 2019. Her 2017 single "Smokescreen" went viral with over 40 million views on Youtube. [2] Chen's female rendition of W.M.L 's "Fiery Love" has over 20 million views on the same platform. Chen and OSN, another Taiwanese artist, worked together on a duet version of the latter's song, "Without You," also amassing over 20 million views. Collaborating with W.M.L again, the pair created another hit single titled "I'm Alive" which has garnered over 10 million views by the end of April 2023. She is currently under a Taiwanese record label, SKR Presents. [2] In September 2020, Chen held a personal performance concert where she sang 20 songs back-to-back. Evangeline Wong, W.M.L, and OSN were audience guests at the invitation of Chen. [3]

Taipei, officially Taipei City, is the capital and a special municipality of Taiwan. Located in Northern Taiwan, Taipei City is an enclave of the municipality of New Taipei City that sits about 25 km (16 mi) southwest of the northern port city of Keelung. Su Huan-chih (Chinese: 蘇煥智; pinyin: Sū Huànzhì; Wade–Giles: Su1 Huan4-chih4; born July 20, 1956) is a Taiwanese politician who was the magistrate of Tainan County from 2001 to 2010, until Tainan County's merger into Tainan City. Born in a rural township in southern Taiwan, Su graduated from National Taiwan University. He passed the bar examination in 1986 and started his career as a lawyer.

Lai Ching-te, also known as William Lai, is a Taiwanese politician and former physician who is currently serving as the 8th president of the Republic of China (Taiwan) since May 2024. He is the third member from the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) to assume the office of president, the third incumbent ROC vice president to succeed to the presidency, and the first to assume the office through election instead of immediate succession. He has also served as the chair of the DPP since 2023.

Kano is a 2014 Taiwanese baseball period film directed by Umin Boya and produced by Jimmy Huang and Wei Te-sheng. It is based on a true story depicting the multiracial Kano baseball team from Japanese-era Taiwan, overcoming extreme odds to represent the island in the 1931 Japanese High School Baseball Championship at Koshien Stadium. Performing beyond all expectations, the underdog team advanced to the championship game in the tournament.
