Bodyguard is a British political thriller television series created and written by Jed Mercurio and produced by World Productions as part of ITV Studios for the BBC. The six-part series centres around the fictional character of Police Sergeant David Budd, a British Army war veteran suffering from PTSD, who is now working for the Royalty and Specialist Protection Branch of London's Metropolitan Police Service. He is assigned as the principal protection officer (PPO) for the ambitious Home Secretary Julia Montague, whose politics he despises. Its scenario is based on a legendary incident in the life of Godiva, Countess of Mercia, who lived in England during the mid-11th century. Allegedly, the Anglo-Saxon noblewoman rode naked—covered only by her long hair—through the streets of Coventry to protest and abolish an oppressive tax imposed on that town's residents by her husband, Leofric, Earl of Mercia. The film, copies of which survive today, stars Julia Swayne Gordon in the title role with a supporting cast including Robert Maillard, Harold Wilson, and Kate Price.

The team is tasked with delivering a secret package to an island research base, which they are told could end the war. Jakob Oftebro, Erik Enge, Dar Salim, Ardalan Esmaili, Aliette Opheim, David Dencik, Susan Taslimi, and Stella Marcimain Klintberg appear in supporting roles. The film was released on 18 March 2022 by Netflix.
The Trip is a 2021 Norwegian action horror comedy film starring Aksel Hennie and Noomi Rapace. Hennie and Rapace portray Lars and Lisa, a couple who are fed up with each other and plan on murdering each other during their trip to their cabin. However, their plans go awry when three fugitives take them captive.
