Mayaro is the name of a county on southeastern Trinidad island, in Trinidad and Tobago.
Caroni County was a historic county of Trinidad and Tobago. It occupies 557 km2 (215 sq mi) in the west central part of the island of Trinidad, the larger island in the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. It lies south and southwest of Saint George County, west of Nariva County and north of Victoria County. To the west it is bounded by the Gulf of Paria. County Caroni includes the towns of Chaguanas, the largest town in the country and Couva, the capital of the Couva–Tabaquite–Talparo region. Administratively it is divided between the Borough of Chaguanas, the Region of Couva–Tabaquite–Talparo and the Region of Tunapuna–Piarco. The county was divided into four Wards: Chaguanas, Couva, Cunupia and Montserrat. The major towns of County Caroni are Chaguanas and Couva. The port and industrial zone of Point Lisas is located in Caroni, and the region is also a site for agriculture.
Princes Town is a town within an eponymous region, located on south-Central Trinidad island in Trinidad and Tobago. The population of the town is 28,335.

The Sir Solomon Hochoy Highway, sometimes referred to as SHH, is the major north–south highway on the island of Trinidad, in Trinidad and Tobago. It runs for 51.2 km.
Nariva is a county in Trinidad and Tobago. It is located in eastern Trinidad, south of Saint Andrew County and north of Mayaro County, to the west by Victoria County and to the northwest by Saint George County. The southern boundary of the county lies along the Ortoire River and the western boundary is Cocos Bay. The towns of Rio Claro and Ecclesville are located in Nariva County. The Nariva Swamp is located in the eastern part of Nariva County.

It is located in northeastern Trinidad, east of Saint George County, south of Saint David County and north of Nariva County. To the east it is bounded by the Atlantic Ocean. The major town in the county is Sangre Grande. Saint Andrew is divided into five Wards - Valencia, Matura, Manzanilla, Tamana and Turure.
Saint David is a county in Trinidad and Tobago which occupies 202 km2 (78 sq mi) in the northeastern corner of the island of Trinidad. The main town in the county is Toco. It is bounded to the north by the Caribbean Sea, to the east by the Atlantic Ocean, to the south by Saint Andrew County and to the west by Saint George County. Saint David County consists of a single Ward, Toco, although Tobago was formerly administered as a Ward of Saint David.
Saint Patrick was a county in Trinidad and Tobago that occupied an area of 673 km2 (260 sq mi). It occupied the southwestern peninsula of the island of Trinidad, bounded by the Columbus Channel to the south, the Gulf of Paria to the west, and Victoria to the north. It included the towns of Point Fortin, La Brea, Siparia, Cedros, Fyzabad and Penal. Saint Patrick was divided into four Wards: Cedros, La Brea, Erin and Siparia.
Princes Town is a region of Trinidad and Tobago. The local government body is Princes Town Regional Corporation, a Regional Corporation of Trinidad and Tobago. The region has a land area of 620 km2. The Princes Town Regional Corporation is headquartered in Princes Town.
Borde Narve Village is a fast-growing village centered on the Cipero Road in between San Fernando and Princes Town in Southern Trinidad. It is located in the Princes Town Regional Corporation. The village has been growing at a fast rate since 1999, thanks to its location almost equidistant from the two main towns. The village's precise population is unknown but is estimated at 1,500. The exact beginning and ends of the village have blurred and are not clear-cut. However, the towns of Lengua and St. Johns are adjacent to it. The village has one cricket ground located at the junction of Cipero Road and Inverness. The village also has several churches and businesses as of late. The village is represented by the Naparima District. The current Minister of Parliament is Nazim Baskh of UNC-A.
The 2003 Trinidadian local elections were held on Monday, July 14, 2003 for the regions and municipalities of Trinidad and Tobago. These municipalities and regions were created after the amendment of Act No.8 of 1992.
Local elections in Trinidad and Tobago were held on 2 December 2019, contesting 139 electoral districts across Trinidad's 14 municipal corporation electoral areas.
