The Mid Devon Lawn Tennis Tournament was a Victorian era combined men's and women's grass court tennis tournament first staged August 1883, organised by the Mid-Devon Lawn Tennis Club, and held at the club ground, Eggesford, Mid Devon, England. The tournament ended in 1895 and was not staged again due to a lack of participation.

It continued under that name until after World War II when it was known as the Torquay Open In 1971 the tobacco company Rothmans International took over sponsorship of the event and it was branded as the Rothmans Torquay Tournament until 1974 when their sponsorship ended.
The Newton Abbott Lawn Tennis Tournament a late Victorian era grass court tennis tournament staged first staged on 23 September 1878. The tournament was organised by the Newton Abbot Archery and Lawn Tennis Club, and was played at the South Devon Cricket Club Ground, Newton Abbot, Devon, England. The tournament was held until 1885.
The Bedford Open also known as the Bedford Lawn Tennis Open Tournament was men's and women's grass court tennis tournament established in 1880 as the Bedfordshire LTC Tournament. It was held at the Bedford Lawn Tennis Club, Bedford, Berkshire, England and ran through until 1974 when it was abolished.
