Victoria Rhea Vidales Goodman (born April 4, 1996) is a former collegiate softball infielder. She played for Team Mexico and helped them place fourth at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. [1] She participated at the 2017 Canada Cup. [2] and the 2019 Pan American Games. [3]

Jennifer Yvonne McFalls is an American, former collegiate All-American, gold-medal winning Olympian right-handed softball player and current Head Coach, originally from Grand Prairie, Texas. She played college softball at Texas A&M Aggies softball as a utility player and shortstop. She then went on to Team USA, being named an Olympic alternate in 1996 and a member of the 2000 team that won gold. After her years playing softball McFalls decided to become a coach with her first position as the assistant coach at Texas A&M. Mcfalls continued to coach for many years with several different schools at many different competitive levels. She was the head coach of the National Pro Fastpitch professional softball team, the Dallas Charge for their inaugural season. McFalls leads the Kansas Jayhawks softball team.

Danielle Elaine Lawrie-Locke is a Canadian, former collegiate All-American, medal-winning Olympian, professional All-Star right-handed hitting softball pitcher and current sports commentator, originally from Langley, British Columbia. Lawrie played college softball at Washington, in which she was part of the 2009 Women's College World Series championship team. Lawrie currently plays for the Canada women's national softball team, including during the 2008 Beijing Olympics, that earned a Bronze medal at the 2020 Summer Olympics. From 2010 to 2014 and in 2019, Lawrie played for the USSSA Pride and Canadian Wild of National Pro Fastpitch (NPF) and was an NPF All-Star in 2011 and part of two Cowles Cup league championship teams in 2013 and 2014. She owns numerous records for the Huskies as well as the Pac-12, where she is the career leader in strikeouts, and ranks fourth all-time in the NCAA Division I.

Victoria Gran Hayward is a Canadian, former collegiate All-American, medal-winning Olympian, professional softball player originally from Mountain View, California. She played college softball for the Washington Huskies from 2011-14. She played for the Canadian Wild in the National Pro Fastpitch. She played in the inaugural season of the Atletes Unlimited softball league and earned the bronze medal for the third most points earned. She is an outfielder and bats and throws left-handed. She has played for the Canadian Senior Women's softball team since June 2009 and helped them win a Bronze medal at the 2020 Summer Olympics.

Samantha Bricio Mexican volleyball player

Samantha Bricio is a Mexican volleyball professional player, the youngest player to play for the Mexico national team in its history. Bricio played in the 2009 FIVB Girls Youth World Championship and again in 2011, finishing twelfth. She received the 2010 Central American and Caribbean Games Best Scorer and Best Server awards and the Best Scorer award in the 2011 Youth Pan-American Cup, 2011 Junior Pan-American Cup and the 2013 Pan-American Cup.

Softball at the 2020 Summer Olympics Olympic softball tournament

Softball was featured at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo for the first time since the 2008 Summer Olympics. The tournament consisted of six teams. Baseball/softball was one of five sports added to the program of the 2020 Summer Olympics only. The first six opening round games were played at Fukushima Azuma Baseball Stadium in an effort to highlight Fukushima's recovery from the 2011 Fukushima Daiichi nuclear disaster, while the remaining games were played at Yokohama Stadium. Softball will not return in 2024.

Sara Angeline Groenewegen is a Canadian, former collegiate All-American, medal-winning Olympian, professional right-handed softball pitcher originally from White Rock, British Columbia. Groenewegen was a All-American at the University of Minnesota and an all-star for National Pro Fastpitch. From 2014 to 2017, Groenewegen pitched for the University of Minnesota, where she owns the all-time strikeouts and strikeout ratio records. She also currently still ranks for both the Big Ten Conference and the NCAA Division I in the ratio category. She played for the Canadian Wild in the National Pro Fastpitch after being drafted #2 overall in 2017. She has been a member of the Canada women's national softball team since 2013. Groenewegen helped Team Canada win a Bronze medal at the 2020 Summer Olympics.

Softball competitions at the 2019 Pan American Games in Lima, Peru are scheduled to be held from July 25 to August 10. The venue for the competition is the softball stadium located at the Villa María del Triunfo cluster. A total of six men's and six women's teams competed in each tournament. This means a total of 180 athletes are scheduled to compete.

Mexico at the 2020 Summer Olympics Sporting event delegation

Mexico is currently competing at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo. Originally scheduled to take place from 24 July to 9 August 2020, the Games weren postponed to 23 July to 8 August 2021, because of the COVID-19 pandemic. It is the nation's twenty-fourth appearance at the Summer Olympics. Athletes were given priority for vaccines in March.

Kamalani Dung American softball player

Xeana Kamalani Dung, also known as "Kama Dung", is an American, right-handed softball pitcher and sports model from Waianae, Hawaii. She is a gold medalist and is known as one of the best softball pitchers to come out of the islands of Hawaii. Dung is currently a professional softball player who pitches on the Puerto Rican national softball team and in the Athletes Unlimited Pro League. She has competed in a number of international tournaments and has gained a large following as an international and collegiate athlete. Dung was the former starting pitcher for the Fresno State Bulldogs (2015-2017) and the University of California Golden Bears (2017-2019) in the Pac-12.

Eujenna "Jenna" Afrodite Caira is a Canadian, former collegiate All-American, medal-winning Olympian, professional right-handed hitting softball pitcher originally from Toronto, Ontario. She was a starting pitcher for the Syracuse Orange from 2009–12 and holds the career records in wins, shutouts and innings pitched. Additionally, she is the Big East Conference career leader in strikeouts. She has played for the Canadian Senior Women's softball team since June 2009 and helped them win a Bronze medal at the 2020 Summer Olympics. She also played for the Canadian Wild softball team in the National Pro Fastpitch.

Janet Leung is a Canadian, former collegiate, medal-winning Olympian, right-handed softball player originally from Mississauga, Ontario. Leung played college softball for the Brown Bears in the Ivy League from 2013-16. She is a member of the Canadian National Team and competed in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, earning a Bronze medal.

Sashel Aitiana Palacios is an American softball catcher of Mexican descent. She helped the Mexican national team qualify for the 2020 Summer Olympics and place fourth in the tournament.
