Reception

Newsday called it "slow and plodding". ^[3] The Miami Herald felt the direction "had a few uncertain moments in the beginning but ultimately built the story's suspense very excitingly." ^[4] The Daily News felt "much" of the original story "was lost in mere melodramatic action. However enough came over to hold the viewer." ^[5]
