Vidago Palace is a 2017 Portuguese mini-series, which originally aired on RTP1 and TVG. The show is a historical drama set in 1936; the series was both set and filmed in the Vidago Palace Hotel in Vidago. The plot follows a love triangle focused on Mikaela Lupu's Carlota and centers on class conflict. [1] The series was RTP1's highest rated in three years. [2]

<i>The Voice Portugal</i> Television series

The Voice Portugal is a Portuguese reality singing competition and local version of The Voice, based on the original The Voice of Holland. The series employs a panel of four coaches who critique the artists' performances, and guide their teams of selected artists through the remainder of the season. They also compete to ensure that their act wins the competition, thus making them the winning coach. The original coaching panel consisted of Rui Reininho, Paulo Gonzo, Mia Rose, and the duo Os Anjos. The most recent coaching panel, for season 11, featured Sara Correia, Fernando Daniel, Sónia Tavares, and António Zambujo. The Domain is a 2019 Portuguese drama film directed by Tiago Guedes. It was selected to compete for the Golden Lion at the 76th Venice International Film Festival. A television series version of the film was also released by RTP1.

Madre Paula is a Portuguese drama television series adapting the novel of the same name by Patrícia Müller which stars Joana Ribeiro and Paulo Pires. It originally aired on RTP1 in 2017.

The Voice Kids is the junior version of The Voice Portugal, broadcast on RTP1, with competitors between the ages of seven and fifteen. The first season premiered in 2014, and the show did not come back for a second season until 2021. In April 2019, RTP1 announced a reboot of the show, which was set to premiere in 2020, but ended up being postponed due to the COVID-19 restrictions.
