Vidago is a village and a former-civil parish in the municipality of Chaves, in the Portuguese district of Vila Real. Until its merger into the parish of Vidago, Arcossó, Selhariz e Vilarinho das Paranheiras, the civil parish administered an area of 6.40 square kilometres (2.47 sq mi) and included a population of 1186 inhabitants.
Chaves is a city and a municipality in the north of Portugal. It is 10 km south of the Spanish border and 22 km south of Verín (Spain). The population of the entire municipality in 2011 was 41,243, in an area of 591.23 km2. The municipality is the second most populous of the district of Vila Real. With origins in the Roman civitas Aquæ Flaviæ, Chaves has developed into a regional center. The urban area or city proper has 17,535 residents (2001).

The Voice Portugal is a Portuguese reality singing competition and local version of The Voice, based on the original The Voice of Holland. The series employs a panel of four coaches who critique the artists' performances, and guide their teams of selected artists through the remainder of the season. They also compete to ensure that their act wins the competition, thus making them the winning coach. The original coaching panel consisted of Rui Reininho, Paulo Gonzo, Mia Rose, and the duo Os Anjos. The most recent coaching panel, for season 11, featured Sara Correia, Fernando Daniel, Sónia Tavares, and António Zambujo. South is a Portuguese police noir, in nine episodes, created by Edgar Medina and Guilherme Mendonça, directed by Ivo M. Ferreira and produced by Arquipélago Filmes. Soundtrack by Dead Combo. The series premiered on the 28 September 2019, on RTP1, and broadcast ended on the 23 November 2019.
Madre Paula is a Portuguese drama television series adapting the novel of the same name by Patrícia Müller which stars Joana Ribeiro and Paulo Pires. It originally aired on RTP1 in 2017.
The Voice Kids is the junior version of The Voice Portugal, broadcast on RTP1, with competitors between the ages of seven and fifteen. The first season premiered in 2014, and the show did not come back for a second season until 2021. In April 2019, RTP1 announced a reboot of the show, which was set to premiere in 2020, but ended up being postponed due to the COVID-19 restrictions.
